First time to PoC. The menu is what attracted us and the food did not disappoint (quality taste and nice portions). Good cocktails and amazing service. Great prices. We will definitely plan another visit.
Food was very good as well as the service. I'd suggest they change the pictures on the site though bc the atmosphere is much more casual.
literally everything we had here tonight was fantastic. the calamari strips are some of the best calamari I have ever had. the drinks were wonderful. I had this seard fish with the succotash which was so good. my boyfriend had the pot roast melt and loved it. the owner was absolutely fantastic. we will definitely be back repeatedly!
Had reservations for Easter Sunday lunch. Resturant was pretty full outside with people waiting in line, but we were taken right to our table inside. Service was quick and very good. Food was excellent considering it's price point, and was not "downtown overpriced" for the portions we received. Would definitely eat there again.
Maybe we were there on an off night but the experience was overall bad. Bland ambiance bland food, and slow service. My order was wrong but I thought I would try what they brought anyway. The server did not notice or comment on that I had not touched my food. Some restaurants you don't bother sending it back.
Great experience at Port of Call. The service was great and the food was yummy! They put us in a really nice private area for our large group and we loved it. Our waiter was great and we will definitely go back. We sat inside but the outside looked like a lot of fun too with live music.
Really nice wait staff who was very attentive to us outside even though the whole restaurant inside had been rented out for an event. Super friendly and helpful and the food was great and came out quickly!
Had a reservation on my bachelorette trip and unfortunately got to the restaurant to find out it was closed due to a private event. We stood outside confused and didn't see anyone to ask. They had it roped off so we decided to go underneath and walked through the courtyard to get to the restaurant. We got in and asked them about the reservation and private event and they proceeded to tell us we would have to be out by 8:00pm giving us less than 40 minutes for 7 people to eat. They said if we were past 8:00pm we would have to each pay for a ticket to stay and finish our meal. The lady we spoke to was very rude and tried to blame us saying we were late to the reservation and that if we would have showed up on time we would have had enough time for our meal before the event (which 7 people eating in 45 minutes would have never happened). We get seated and they take 10 minutes to get us a drink menu. We were so fed up that we told the employees we were leaving and went to Matador which I highly recommend. Overall very disappointing as we were on a girls trip and the restaurant could have called us to let us know the event came up. We had this reservation booked for months so poor communication and rude staff. Would not recommend at all.
Atmosphere was great if you love a casual restaurant with music bumping. Was a little noisy and hard to talk, but other then that it was great.
very pretty chandelier and cute little lamps at each table. hush puppies and calamari were delish!

Came here on a food tour. Had some delicious rice and a key lime pie martini.

If I could give negative five stars for customer service, I would. Where do I begin? The customer service was absolutely terrible, and the food was overpriced, even for Charleston. They added 6% state tax, and like two other taxes to the bill. Do yourself a favor—avoid this place. I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, but in this case, I feel like I have to do my civic duty.

Lovely patio experience. Great service. The food was delicious. Great choice for brunch. Highly recommend. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, get the waffle tots on the brunch menu. The chicken biscuit sliders were on point.
