Do not sleep on this place!!! Cool little hole-in-the-wall spot with a really unique vibe. We split a Cuban sandwich and each had a drink, got some beers to go. They were very nice, even though we were probably the oldest people in the place. 😂😂

Will definitely return.

A wonderful cafe, very kid and dog friendly that locals and tourists come to. Sandwiches, crepes and smoothies were so good, the kids ate everything they ordered.
They also have water you can fill your water bottles inside the store.

Queen Street Grocery is the kind of hidden gem you dream of stumbling upon in Charleston. Cozy, quirky, and delicious - this spot delivers on every level. The vibe is laid-back and local, with an awesome staff that makes you feel like part of the neighborhood. The chicken salad is hands-down the best I’ve had. If you’re anywhere near downtown Charleston and not stopping here, you’re doing it wrong. QSG is the bomb dot com.

Great neighborhood spot away from the tourists. Crepes & smoothies in particular are delicious & if you can get a table out front it’s gorgeous.

Nice little corner cafe to get bite. Lotsa crepes to choose from, sweet and savory. I had a sweet crepe - banana, brown sugar, brown butter - which was really good. The service was friendly and professional. Though not much of a grocery store, they have a nice beer selection.

Cool spot for a quick drink or snack to cool down on a hot day! They have tons of drink options and a small grocery section. The staff was really kind and the atmosphere felt homey

Excellent Cuban and Italian sandwiches at Queen Street Grocery!

The door says they close at 3, but they lock the door way before that. They need to change what’s on the door if they can’t keep those hours. It also looks run down inside.

Great food and service. Can get a bit busy at lunch. So good that I had breakfast and lunch 2x this week. Indoor and outdoor seating by the entrance and more thru the grocery area. Great soup and sandwiches. Great beer selection.

Back 3x this week amazing breakfast and lunch. Enjoy!!!

But eat there while you can. The neglected water intrusion won't let it be around all that longer. It appears the earthquake bolts are holding the buckling outside wall together.

Parking: 2hr Residential parking (permit reqd.[for longer]) in that area. You may have to walk a bit. 3 blocks from Colonial Lake and about the same from King St.
