We went here while visiting Charleston, upon the recommendation of a friend's daughter who goes to CofC. This place was so, so cute and the crepes and breakfast sandwiches were excellent.

The food was excellent. I had the Bogarden omelette with ham, my husband had a BYO breakfast sandwich & My SIL had the ham & cheese omelette. The portions are large enough to share, the veggies were fresh and full of flavor and there was a large drink selection. It is a small indoor seating area but a back patio and tables on the sidewalk provided plenty of seating for this unique and fun cafe. Coffee & water were self serve and plentiful but if you are a coffee snob/connoisseur… bring your own.

Queen Street Grocery is an established restaurant. As others have said, it's small, casual and has limited seating, but their friendly service and yummy food is fantastic. My favorite is the Tenacious Turkey sandwich! Serving up breakfast and lunch, you can get orders to go. If it's crowded, take it over to Colonial Lake for an impromptu picnic!

Nothing fancy about Queen Street. Tucked back in neighborhood area and has that local vibe about it. Sandwiches, crepes, salads are the main features on the menu. Order at the front and they bring your food out. Staff friendly and efficient. Sandwich was tasty and plenty big enough. Enough indoor seating, but you may have to share a table.

This lunch place is so good! I had the Daniel crepe, and it was just yummy. The staff was lovely, too. Sat outside on a beautiful Charleston day.

The staff are the highlight here! They are always smiling and happy to help you. The omelettes are loaded with fillings and big enough to share. I can also take my dog in!

It's a bit of a walk but this 100 year old grocery serves some amazing sandwiches. Big enough for three!

Okay okay. We almost passed this one up because it had an actual door knob on the door and it's a little place on a corner. We thought it was maybe an old place that moved but no... walk in and the menu is quite large on the wall. Little amount of seating inside and out but they do a lot of take out business. They stayed busy the whole time we were there. Food was great! Once you find this place - ENJOY!

Local favorite for a quick bite. Limited seating available street-side, inside, or on the back patio. Friendly staff. Located away from the busyness of King St/downtown CHS. Worth checking out!

We had lunch at the Queen St Grocery and found the service, staff, and original building setting to be simply lovely all around!! We are so glad we found you!!

Happened across QSG for breakfast one Saturday when all the on-the-beaten-path places had 2-hour waits. No wait here, though plenty of folks were eating both at outside tables and inside. Easily found a table, food arrived quickly. We ordered an omelette (big portion!) and breakfast bagel, both delicious! Facilities were clean, quiet, very pleasant. Staff very friendly!

We had the everything bagel, egg and cheese, very good. The strawberry and banana smoothie was very good. The Bee Street Smoothie was ok. Coffee was good. Very strict on the Covid rules.

Awesome little place in a neat neighborhood and worth the visit. Had a phenomenal sandwich and a beer here. Make it one of your stops when you come to Charleston.

Queen Street Grocery and Cafe served up some seriously awesome gluten-free crepes. I could eat from them every day of the week! They are tucked out of the way on Queen St. a few blocks from King St. The walk there was pleasant and we really enjoyed the vibe at QSG.
