We attended Raw Lab for the first time last night, we booked four seats for a company Christmas party and the sad thing is, we will never be able to top last night’s experience for the remainder of Christmas parties in our company’s future.
To describe the night in a word, I would say incredible. The food was delicious, wines paired extremely well, and the service was a blast. You can tell how much Kevin and sandy enjoy getting to do what they do.
Sadly, we will never be able to go back because it is closing, but we will be on the hunt for the next city Kevin opens in and will travel to do it again!
Kevin thank you so much, and I hope your future endeavors outshine what you’ve done in Charleston.

Huge operational failure.
Double booked us (shit happens; not fun but understandable) for my husband’s bday dinner and refuses to cancel us or refund the $540 deposit (inexcusable).
I’ve texted, emailed, and also called and left a vm. So far no responses except they cannot accommodate us.
As someone in hospitality I get system glitches happen, but the lack of response to a simple request for immediate refund is inexcusable.
Edit: owner lies and said he refunded promptly but as you can see in chat, nothing else was communicated, and in fact I got a text from resy confirming my reservation at 2pm on the day of reservation- if owner had indeed cancelled on Resy; why would I get texts? Owner did not provide any screenshots of his alleged texts to me (because they do not exist) and yet I can document it was not cancelled on the resy system leading up to the night of the reservation.

This review will be unable to capture this experience. Your first thought may be ‘yikes’ on the price tag…and I get it. I assure you that after the 4 hour meal you will immediately agree it was worth it and more. The quality is out of this world! The atmosphere is truly ‘a vibe’. If you’re looking for stiff, white tablecloth service…it’s not for you. The experience and ambiance is one to participate in and enjoy. Kevin does something very rare which is to put his heart and soul into feeding you food that serves your body and the environment. His dishes are thought out and sourced responsibly. He emphasizes and encourages you to take time to taste and experience your food. It’s a mindfulness we don’t get to make space for in every meal. It is truly a Masterclass in oysters and cavier. It’s a world class trip through some of the best wines I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. I am not a big drinker and it worried me that I would be consuming 14+ wines. The pours are perfect to enjoy and taste them all without leaving you so inebriated that you don’t have the chance to enjoy the gorgeous food. For anyone who tries to say they left hungry…I don’t know how. I found myself completely satiated and even had concerns I would be too full for the final course. A special hats off to Sandy who kept it running both behind the scene and in front. Her soup will not soon be forgotten as the best seafood broth I’ve tasted. It was a super special night and an amazing meal that is beyond worth the time and price tag. Thanks Kevin and Sandy; good look in Jupiter!

Kevin’s presentation and servings are wonderful, magical and extraordinary. You really have to experience it to appreciate all that goes into this very unique experience of seafood and entrainment that will dazzle your visual and auditory senses along with your palate. From uniquely dressing oysters and salmon and more with his own home made accoutrements to the simplicity and complexity of understanding how to make sure your palate is busting with happiness he is truly the Maestro. My wife and I are foodies and have traveled quite a bit internationally and domestically and we have never experienced an evening of dining like the Raw Lab. We have had the pleasure to enjoy the experience 3 times now and each experience was wonderfully unique in its own way. Get ready for a really fun evening of delicacies for both your stomach and your mind that you will not forget. And remember to “Release the Hounds” ! Bravo Kevin and Sandy !

Going out of business. Likely due to the “chefs” inability to take criticism and ridiculous responses to it.
This was by far one of the coolest dinners I have ever been apart of! Left with a full stomach and the biggest smile! Thank you to the team for giving us such a wonderful night to remember forever. Was able to get a few bottles of wine to enjoy when we get home. Our entire group will 100% go back next time we are in town we cannot stop raving about how great this night was!
Only thing I am fearful of is I do not think I will be able to enjoy oysters anymore once you have this oyster service any oyster that follows will be a disappointment… (in other words best oysters I have ever had)

We did the Oyster and Caviar Masterclass and had an absolute blast! I’ve had my fair share of oysters and caviar, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually appreciated the intricacies of flavor until this class. Kevin was very knowledgeable and presented so many great flavor pairings for the evening, along with wine pairings. If we didn’t live 1200 miles away, I would be back every week for the Raw Lab experience! Thank you for a great evening and we wish you the best!
