Baseball! This place hits a homerun every time. The consistency of quality is absolutely wonderful and fantastic and respectable. Next, we need to discuss the crust. We’re all tired of the crusts that are too wide! We eat the slice, and we arrive at the crust, and there’s too much of it. The rest of the pizza may be great, but the crust commands such a percentage that we’re ultimately left unsatisfied. Not here, friend. The crust is a delightful finale to the slice, but crucially, it’s not the focal point. I’d also like the comment on the volume and consistency of the toppings. What you receive is something more than a template. The toppings are distributed evenly, but in an intuitive sense. You know that a master of the craft was in charge of the brilliance behind your topping placement. Every bite is YOUR pizza. The slice is looked at on a bite-by-bite basis and also in a holistic sense. Which may not make a lot of sense, but it’s something you have to experience to believe. They also allow you to place orders on their website instead of the soulless delivery apps, and they let you pay with cash at the door, the was it was meant to be. May the winds of opportunity always be at the back of Ray’s Pizza.

Honestly best pie on the island. Hands down. There isn’t even a close second place. Fresh ingredients. Real sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil. They care about the product they make.

Didn’t even know this place existed until a friend suggested I go. Went this evening and glad I did! A true gem of James Island.. Guy checking me out was nice as can be and treated me like a familiar face. The pasta was exactly what I wanted, however, the pizza was a little lacking which was a bit disappointing after reading the reviews. I’ll chalk it up to somebody having an off day. I’ll definitely be back though to maybe try out a different pizza. Would recommend.

I work up the road from Ray's pizza and make it a point to go in and grab some food weekly! Top notch pizza! try the spicy garlic wings! they ar 10 out of 10! I went in today on My lunch and grabbed some and per usual they dont disappoint!
Easy 5 out of 5. Some of the best pizza you can get in Charleston. Very friendly staff. Good vibes. Highly recommend.

Trying to charge me $14 for two slices of pizza thats been sitting out and a single soda. Gas stations sell soda at 2.69 max.. Lower your damn prices. It's now a no brainer the place looks empty everytime I drive by. Go elsewhere!

My fiance, George and I, were brought here by our friend, Mike who knows the owners and we are SO GLAD he did! Best pizza around in my opinion... And the garlic knots!? I would FIGHT over those knots!! They are located conveniently between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach and we stop everytime we go to the beach! Our food is always prepared to our liking, quickly and with a friendly smile. We love finding new places we can enjoy as a family and we are thankful Mike came to visit and showed us the way to some of the best pizza in SC! I highly, highly recommend trying them out, you won't be disappointed!
