Yo!!!! The best brisket ever!!! Say no more!!! Omg!!!! Anyways ordered the trio platter with the whole hog (for me was just ok , I’ve had better lechon, sorry) the pork shoulder (really well seasoned and moist! Very tasty one of the best pork shoulders I’ve tasted, then the brisket! As soon as I bit in to that brisket! It was a flavor and texture perfection! The brisket was soft and juicy, very well seasoned, no need for the extra sauce. The collard greens was very good too!!! I’d most likely order just the brisket next time as it was my favorite. Come here early like 4-5pm and there’s no line.

Damn good Que! Raised on vinegar based que in Georgia and now find myself comparing all to Texas based Que. I’m not a sauce fan and I’m a firm believer, if you’re using sauce, you’re hiding something. I want to taste the meat and the smoke.The Collards were out of this world!!
When visiting a place for the first time, I am always open& welcoming to recommendations or suggestions, but the girl taking the order kept trying to force something that I didn't want and rudely questioned my choice (I simply asked for pork shoulder versus the whole hog on my potato!) that was very off-putting and created a bad vibe. Food was alright, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this location.
Great tasting food; however, I find some f to be dry- ribs! I love the brisket and the chicken, but my collard green had sugar in them. I think they were too sweet. Otherwise, I think the food experience and prices were on point.
Rodney Scott may be known for whole hog BBQ and believe me it is great, but don’t sleep on his brisket. All the sides are amazing, the staff is attentive and friendly, and all the meats are next level. If you’re lucky enough to meet Rodney I can’t say enough about what a warm, humble and just plain nice guy he is. Rodney is the genuine article and so is his food.

Authentic Southern BBQ! IT'S DELICIOUS! I RECOMMEND!
On the way out of town i stopped for lunch. Drive thru is great! We have a dog so perfect . I got the whole hog sandwich slaw and added a sweet tea for a buck. It came to 9.98/perfect! That's a helluva deal for such good quality bbq. The hog was way up there / probably the best bbq pork sandwich I've had/ and we had just come from Lexington bbq in n.c. and had Lewis. Rodney Scott's is the real deal/ slaw was very good tea was great/ thanks folks/ I'm about to go home and build a pit! Oink oink

We had the catfish because we are pescetarians. The sides are 5 out of 5 all day. Maybe add some fried shrimp or another sea food option. We will be back for macDietary restrictions: They have a pescetarian item and many veggie sides

Drive though service was great, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Drummies were tender and tasty, we got the brisket sandwich lean by request and it was super tasty. Coleslaw was next level.Reasonable price.

I don't usually think the nationally recognized BBQ restaurants are as good as people make them out to be, but this one definitely is. The whole hog was outstanding, and every side I had was delicious, especially the collard greens and Mac and cheese. It is worth a trip into Charleston just to try it. Prices are very reasonable as well.
