Ruby’s New York Style Bagels

Sad to write This asked for light butter unwrapped foil and it was literally in a puddle showed guy at the counter who was cool , but the brown dude in kitchen could care less actually laughed , sad it’s come to this No Pride in finished product , walked out it’s nothing like NY

The bagels are fantastic, the customer service, not so much. I ordered 9 bagels and two containers of veggie cream cheese online for pickup. I arrived to pick up my order and the bag was stapled shut so confirmed the cream cheese was in there with the cashier and she insisted it was. Got home to my hungry guests, opened the bag and there was no cream cheese. At $17 for two containers, I immediately called and was told by the woman on the phone that she put my order together and was the one who gave it to me and insisted there was one container of cream cheese on top. I told her I was staring right at, as were my guests, and there was no cream cheese with my order. Not to mention she said there was one container, she saw it herself, even though I ordered two. She said she can refund me for one and I said I wanted to be refunded for both since I didn’t receive any and she hung up on me. Hoping we had just gotten disconnected somehow I called back, no answer, called back again, no answer. So my husband called from his phone and someone answered. They told him the cream cheese (again one, not two) was in the bag and they already refunded me for one. My husband assured them we did not receive any cream cheese and why would we call and lie about it?? They said they can’t do another refund on the same transaction but if we come in they’ll give us two containers of cream cheese. I believe the employee saw cream cheese in a bag, I’m not accusing her of lying like they did to us, but I don’t think it was my order she saw it in. So eventually we went back to the store, spoke to a manager who didn’t seem to care, didn’t apologize for the mixup and now we have two containers of cream cheese but it’s too late because everyone was hungry and ate their bagels before we got back. I don’t appreciate being accused of lying and trying to refund me for only half of what I was missing. Not at these prices.

Nexton location bagels are great but the service on Sunday morning is awful 😢

OMG... The absolute best bagels EVER! I haven't had a bagel that comes close to decent since I left NJ... These FAR SURPASS even those! THANK YOU!!! 🤗😋

This is really 10 stars. From out of town and found this place through happenstance. OMG. Had the lox and bagel. Maybe one of the best meals I have ever had. Go there. Get the lox and bagels. And best of all...the lady who took our order was from Columbus, Ohio. GO BUCKS!!!

My favorite breakfast and coffee shop in the low country by far! Begonia has the best energy and is always so welcoming and kind. Caleigh is the best barista in Charleston, is so friendly and sweet. Emily is also an amazing barista and is always smiling. Besides having amazing food and coffee I love going to Rubys Bagels in west ashley to see these people!!
