The shrimp omelet was absolutely amazing, I had to simply close my eyes and melt into my seat after the first bite. The Biscuit was a little dense for my liking and the grits weren't creamy, they were pretty watery and gritty. My husband liked his sweet heat chicken a lot and the sausage gravy biscuits he loved. The vanilla coffee was way too milky, couldn't even taste any coffee. The service was great, the young black male with braids who waited our table was friendly, attentive and quick. I would certainly go back.

The people there were very nice, just not very attentive. I had my order long before I had silverware and couldn't seem to flag anyone down because they were all busy. That being said, the restaurant wasn't very busy. I'll give that a partial pass, though, as there was a pretty decent storm that morning, and they were still cleaning up.The food was just ok and maybe a little overpriced for what it was. It's not something to write home about, but decent. I'd probably try another breakfast spot the next time I was in the area, though this place would do in a pinch.

Food was great. Picky eaters and all were satisfied. Hard to compete with my biscuits and gravy and they held their own according to my husband. Bennie’s were really good as was my chorizo omelette. Biscuits rocked! Atmosphere was a little lack luster. Service was a little slow but we got there at a weird time. Overall I would recommend for sure.

Ate here on 3/16/24. Food was OK. The service was TERRIBLE. I got the Biscuits & gravy and added the sweet hot chicken strips. The chicken strips were very tasty however they were way over cooked and dry, pretty much burnt. I would have complained but we didn’t see our waitress for so long I was just ready to leave by the time we seen her again. As I mentioned above, the service was very bad. We sat outside since it was such a beautiful day. There were only 3 tables outside, 1 of which was occupied. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated in one of these empty tables. This is when we should have walked away. After being seated, our waitress came out with menus, again, 10 minutes later. Over the next 15 min we got our drinks and ordered food. Food came out in a timely manner, not by our waitress. We did not see her again until I went into the restaurant and ask for our check, which seemed to annoy her. She was busy tending bar. During our meal I could have used salt & pepper and possibly a second cup of coffee. She never came back out.

We love this spot for brunch with a Nola flare! Their French toast bites and beignets are so good! You can't go wrong with the Benedicts! I had the tacos this time and they were very filling! Gotta try and so convenient to the area hotspots!

We had planned to grab a quick brunch and then enjoy the beautiful spring day walking along the waterfront. The stated 20-30 minute wait turned into 45 minutes. Once seated, we ordered soft drinks and kid’s pancakes. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks and place our main order. Beignets were said to "be out right away". The kid’s pancakes took 30 minutes, and then it was another 20 to get the beignets. Our waitress said that she would check on them but just continued to take orders that the restaurant could not produce. The beignets were flat and hard, like sugar-covered stale pita chips. An hour and half after entering the restaurant, we walked out without ever getting our entrees. Until then, the waitress never apologized or managed expectations during the wait. Just "almost there" or "I'll check on it" and never came back. Thanks for wasting our day. We won’t be back.
