Have the beet salad and uptick with grilled chicken. Get extra vinaigrette on the side and use the green goddess dressing sparingly. I am not kidding. Best salad I have ever had in my entire life. (The dressing stuff is just because I'm a dressing snob.) I would travel back to Charleston just for this salad. It's that good.

Will never be back. I have been here several times over the years. I have always had great service and a great burger. Not sure what is going on with this place but it is a real shame. I wish I could say it was only one thing that was not great but unfortunately everything was just awful. The food was terrible. The service was just sad. Even our drinks were bad. I really don't know how they went so downhill or how they could manage for every single thing to be bad. I hope things change because they really had a great thing going. Of course, I will never know, because I won't be back to find out.

I have visited this establishment now 3 times. Latest being 09-22-2024 around 1600 where I brought a guest. First off, the food on all occasions is out of this world delicious. I have and enjoyed a couple different Cab burgers, blue cheese burger, sweet potato and regular fries, fried pickles and mushroom. ALL AMAZING!!!
HOWEVER!!! Based on my latest visit, the "acting" manager on duty (his words) could use a SERIOUS Jon Taffer intervention and learn the affects of drinking hard liquor on the job!! His cool factor went from 100 to 0 REAL FAST along with his professionalism on all fronts after I personally witnessed him hammer down on 2 different occasions equal to 6 or more shots each of hard liquor from a whiskey and rocks sizable glass. To make matters worse, over hearing the bartender roasting the manager about I quote, " Man I'm a little surprised you haven't been taking more shots all day." Then to seal the fate of this review, the "acting managers" behavior toward the female staff. Based on their facial expressions and his unprofessional violations of their personal spaces, one can easily assume inappropriate comments made to them or more as I watch him jump back and quickly tell them, "OH OH, im only kidding!" And this doesn't include his unprofessional interaction with other female customers who came in, including my guest.
THEN!! I have mad respect for the server we had. He was BUSTING HIS ASS though making an OBSCENE amount of mistakes. Have talking with the young man, couple days on the job and NO ONE willing to train him about the business. Every little question, "Not sure, I need to go ask." Which is VERY sad because he has great potential.
So all in all.....I have concluded. My guest told me she would LOVE to come back for the food, but ONLY if she knew that manager was gone or not on duty for the shift. So the n that means I'm out too. I'm not the smartest pencil in the box, but if you don't have the skills to read your guests and know when your about to breech professional boundaries, then just maybe you shouldn't be in hospitality.
Btw: My guest wanted me to inform yall, all but one light in the women's bathroom didn't work.
Parking: Not many spots. Super tough when busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Beautiful ramp to inside and handicap parking.

I usually don't leave bad reviews - but tonight was bad. I ordered the fried chicken salad through Uber eats. I've had this salad many times before, and this time it didn't look anywhere close to the typical order. The usual fried chicken strips were not on the salad, and it came with a soggy and barely breaded chicken patty. The toppings on it were not those that are on the menu — it had pistachios, cucumbers, no egg, no bacon, and what I hope was quinoa. All over the lettuce was small tan and white balls that could have been quinoa, but looked off. The lettuce was also limp and seemed a couple of days old. Honestly, a bit hesitant to eat here again after this experience.

Came with my co-workers for lunch. The atmosphere and decor was pretty cool. Our server was really nice starting out. We had 6 guests, 5 burgers and 1 salad. We waited over an hour after we ordered just for them to be over cooked and a few dry and burnt. I personally won't be back.
When looking for a good happy hour which is close, plenty of parking and definitely, great food, come check out Rutledge Cab. Easy to find and with happy hour, great food and drinks- you will be there to stay for awhile! Great attentive service with the best shrimp, you'll also love the specialty hamburger with of course, onion rings!

Have visited twice now with a large group of women for lunch. Service was tops! The menu has such variety that everyone in our party is always happy with choices. I have had the Reuben (without kraut) and the shrimp tacos. Both were AMAZING!!!
