Being a small town gal now at MUSC, this place has been a slice of home during med school. Great atmosphere, even better staff. Cheap beer and incredibly kind owner(with an amazing memory. Haven't been in about a year and he recognized me immediately) which is very rare in Charleston. Much love to the staff for always being so lovely!

Good views but my experience was soured by the bearded bartenders bad attitude. We were met with unnecessary rudeness and zero hospitality. I get that dive bars can have rough-around-the edges charm, but this crossed the line into plain unwelcoming.

Stay away from this place. The terribly unhealthy and unhappy bearded bartender cannot handle the heat. Some people shouldn’t work in hospitality because they’re prone to make the entire atmosphere sour and unlikable. There are too many nice spots in charleston.
