Sermet's Courtyard

I recently moved to Daniel Island and I'm looking for great food and great places. Well Sermet's Courtyard is a lovely place in the Waterfront area.
I had a Bees Knee's and it was delicious!!! For food I had their Hand Pulled Mozzarella Salad and The Parmesan Crusted Eggplant with Agnolotti. Sooo good... so, so good. Looking forward to going back and trying more.

We had dinner with 8 of us on the patio. It was beautiful and the live music was light and not too loud. The food had very good flavor but my main complaint is that we all left hungry. I ordered the surf and turf and it came with 2, yes 2, medium raviolis and 6 shrimp. That’s it. For the cost I should not leave hungry. The raviolis had ground up short rib in them, maybe a tsp of filling. The drinks were good but also very pricey for what you get. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, I can go get a $250 meal anywhere and not leave hungry.

Great dinner and service. We are inside but the courtyard looked very nice, too, with live music. Portion sizes were just right.

One of our favorite restaurants in the state. Great food and service. Sermet is the best.

Was much better when it was on king….

We tried Sermet's just because we happened to be staying nearby. But what a fantastic restaurant we will definitely be back.!

Two weeks ago, I popped into here for the first time just to grab one drink 🍸
The waitress approached me and asked if I wanted a dinner menu without even saying hello.
After spending several years in Europe, where approaching a customer without greeting is unthinkable (thank God), it is shocking to see how computers and social media have ruined the minds of this younger generation.
Even among older people who grew up during a time when basic social decorum was observed, I see many who've somehow forgotten how to simply add an opening salutation on emails.
Again, something that would NEVER happen in Europe or any other part of Western Civilizatiom.
It is crazy to see how far our society has decayed in just one generation.
If you're a waitress and don't even know how to greet a customer, you need to go find work digging ditches where your utter lack of social skills will come in handy.
Also, I had just one drinky (whiskey & coke), which cost an INSANE $12 !!!
The barmaid was very friendly and the place had a nice, quiet atmospher, which was a relief after some of the noisy zoos where I've recently eaten.

Amazing experience!
A charming place perfect for every occasion, incredible service and amazing food.
You must try the beef spring rolls, I also tried the scallops risotto, was tasty and perfectly cooked.
I’ll be back :)

This was a fantastic experience for our party of three! Jessica did an amazing job explaining the menu and attending to our table's requests. Everything, from drinks to appetizers and entrees, was well portioned and masterfully cooked.

one of my favorite restaurants on daniel island, maybe in south carolina period. food and cocktails are incredible and it’s an amazing experience every time we go. best espresso martini too!

Made reservations for Thursday, September 12th for dinner with my three friends before a concert at credit one Stadium. Approximately two hours before the concert I receive a voicemail on my phone the message is unclear and
inaudible , second voicemail reveals more details saying they’ve canceled my reservation so I contact the restaurant and speak to Sarah. she tells me she doesn’t have any reservations inside until after 7:30 PM. Concerts starts at seven. I ask if there’s a way to sit at the bar and she says that’s full. I ask can we walk-in and she says no! She was flippant and no apology was ever given for throwing this curveball at me less than 2 hours prior to my reservation. Haven’t been to this establishment before and based on this experience , won’t be going EVER!!

I've been coming here for ten plus years... It.
's always amazing. The owner is in the back , making sure your food comes out top tier.. One of the best restaurants i've ever been to in the world.
