This place met and exceeded my expectations. The staff were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere had a strong family feeling, and the food was amazing and won't break the bank.I got their signature sandwich with the hushpuppies for a side and both were delicious.I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Carolina BBQ spot in Charleston.
Best brisket we had on our trip. Liked the ribs at Bertha’s and the sides and Lewis. Was disappointed with the whole hog, we went early in the day so maybe we got left overs from the day prior, very dry.

This place is TRUE southern BBQ! Delicious. When I first moved to SC, all I could find was mustard base sauce (which I HATE), until I found Rodney Scott's place. So happy we tried them! It was strange having to go to the counter to order, but heck it saves money....no tip. Lol. All I can say is the food was awesome!
