Worst Sonic in the history of Sonic. Every single time it takes forever to order and receive your food. Today we went and waited for 20 min at the drive through to then find out from another patron that they weren’t taking orders. This was at 6:15 on a Friday night… and they just decide to close? But they don’t bother to tell anyone or announce it. Just let a dozen cars sit waiting to be helped.

I went to the Sonic on 3418 Shelby Ray Ct. in Charleston,SC. I ordered a #6 meal and it wasn't fresh at all ! The meat tasted bad. Took it back to the store and the Manager was very nasty about the situation, like she couldn't believe the burger wasn't bad. I really just wanted a new burger make but after watching her reaction through the window, I refuse to let them make me a new one and ask for my money back. A very nice young lady came out the assisted me with my refund SHE SHOULD BE THE MANAGER FORREAL . Just lost a customer ' I'll go where my money and time is valued,

The worst Sonic I’ve ever been to. They messed up my burgers, took 30 minutes to correct it, and tried gaslighting me that “that’s just how our Coke is here”. Pictured is the “Coke”. Now all of my other food is cold. I will NEVER be back.

Seems like bad service has been a longstanding trend here. Our experience was no different. A family of six in stall 11 ordered on the app as we pulled in. Since we exceeded the amount you can order through the app($75), we had to place a second order and the app said to push the red button to let them know we had two mobile orders. So the button was pushed and 10 minutes later a guy finally came on and we told him about the double orders. Then the waiting continues, after being there for a total of 43 minutes, we call again and ask for a status, then a couple minutes later our 5 shakes came out, half melted- they were soupy. We finish the shakes with no food yet. So we call again then a few minutes later the second order came out (minus the shake from that order). More waiting, I get out of the car and had to ask someone where our food was. It came right out as if it had been sitting on the line for that long- my soggy tots would agree. So we hand out the food and the second orders shake is still not there so again we had to call. In total we spent over an hour there.

Save yourself some time, drive the couple extra miles and goto Hugh Babies or anywhere other than here. Never again.

The service at sonic is the worst. It is 9:30 am on Thursday. I pressed the button in the drive in stall over 10 minutes ago and still no answer. There is no one in the drive thru, and only a few cars in the stalls. I literally watched an employee walking around outside on their phone. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I always go to sonic for a cherry limeade. It is my favorite. But this location is just terrible with their service and timing. There have been a few times that it has been decent, but the last few times I have gone, I have waited at least 30-40 minutes before I was helped. I will wait in a stall for 20-30 minutes and I do not get helped so I move to the drive thru and I’ve sat there and watched other cars pull away after not being helped for 30+ minutes. This location has lost a lot of service due to lack of service and terrible timing. I understand this place is mostly ran by younger people, but you should have higher standards. If you don’t want to keep losing business, you need to fix this issue. I’m tired of going to sonic and wasting my time sitting there for close to an hour just for nothing.

I really wish this restaurant would step it up. Our family loves Sonic but we’ll have to stop coming here because the service is always SOOoooo slow! Today we ordered 5 shakes and some cheese sticks and it took 30 minutes! Every time we go there, we say this will have to be the last time but really want it to be good so we give it another whirl. Food is decent but dang, DO better!

Ordered ahead of time and it still took almost 40 minutes. Once I got my order then I was informed they were out of a drink and they would go get me something else, they took another 15 minutes because they forgot me! I had to call to remind them. Unfortunately this was the second time waiting over 30 minutes so we will need be returning to this location.

Slowest service of any restaurant. Waited 30 minutes for drive thru food with only two cars in line prior. This is not the first time, just hoped it had gotten better since it’s the closest restaurant to where we were. Will not be back. They lost so many customers just pulling out of line.
