BUYER BEWARE:
The cookies are great, especially the key lime ones. Unfortunately, the guy working at the counter was a scam artist. He saw I was a young mother traveling with my family and thought I would be unaware of his scam. I was there on Easter afternoon around 2-4 pm. I was offered the deal 3 for $12. I gave the guy $20, and he asked my mother for change as he did not have any $5 bills. Then he acted to forget to give me my change due. This is a classic scam played on tourists. I saw right through his act. He had a finesse to it, so I'm sure he's played this scam on many people. This company makes great cookies, but I suggest they fire this guy before he scams more people. I would definitely not pay with a credit card at this location. I would suggest to buy online from this company over purchasing here. Too much risk of scam.
Thank you for the delicious Benne! Enjoyed our fun quick chat too. Wicked awesome.

We came to SC to meet our great grandbaby. Went to market, and at the very end. A delightful lady offered me a key lime cookie. OMyWord. I was in heaven. When we came home to Tucson,az I made a order, the lady o. The phone was so helpful, she even said I'll throw in a few different cookies. The order came quickly. We are ordering more. In the morning. Thank you so much!

Oh. My. Goodness. These old-fashioned tea cookies are absolutely FABULOUS! I purchased them in several flavors from the booth at Charleston Market and then ordered a bunch more online. The Southern Sisters booth at the Charleston Market is one of my go-tos whenever I'm in Charleston. Such quality!

Went through the Market in Charleston and bought delicious homemade cookies from the Southern Sisters table. A bag of Ginger Snaps and a bag of Benne Waffers. Yum!
Cookies are good. They charged a 4% fee to use a credit card but did not disclose that beforehand.
I’ve only tried the benne cookies and the lemon coolers. I recommend both.I also love their sign explaining the history of the Benne Cookies.
I found this vendor from a travel book. Actually the cookies itself is not so good. I only bought one box because I tasted all the cookies they have. None is good enough.

Oh my!!!! A Benne Wafer difference is in the recipe. I haven't met one I haven't liked, but the Southern Sisters are above the rest
Ordered cookies for Christmas gifting and they were supposed to be mailed last November. I have been in negotiations with them to refund my money since they never sent the cookies. To this day I still have not received my refund. So be wary.
Wow! Amazing treats were enjoyed today at our Christmas Party! All of us At Home With Nikki here in Summerville devoured all the goodies! Thank you!!!
I love ? these delightful light wafers with tea or espresso ☕️
