Kind service from one barista was completely overshadowed by Cari’s loud scoffing, eye-rolling, and refusal to make a drink I’ve ordered here many times. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Came in and waited in line to be served. The employee Elizabeth started crying and saying she didn’t think she could work there anymore due to it being her 4th day there. Not sure why she was alone. The other employee Jalynne came in and she wasn’t friendly but the coffee order was great. The food was not.

We stopped here at about 6:15 in the morning and the barista was wrapping up some online orders for a few minutes. When she finally got to us it was about 6:20 which was fine. We began to order and she held her hand up to our face to say “hold on I have to log in”. Which it wasn’t like we got there before it was opened. There were three of us going to order on one tab, one of us gave our order for a drink and a pastry and the barista started to bake the pastry and tried to check the first person out. We then told her it’s all on one order and the second person started to order and ordered a drink and a pastry, she slammed her hand on the counter and said “how many chocolate croissants are you going to want?” And I chimed in and said I would be ordering a different pastry and she said “fine that’s easier”. I’m not sure if she woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what but we felt like a burden and unwelcome. When her “regular” showed up for her online order, she was very cheery and nice so, might have gotten her on a bad day.

I went there and ordered a grande hazelnut oat milk shaken espresso, asked for it to be upside down with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. Cari who was taking my order cut me off mid order to tell me that my drink was too hard to make. My friend walked over while Cari was mid-tirade and then Cari stopped talking. I ordered a second drink that was simpler to make to hopefully not make her mad. She then proceeded to spend the entire time making my drink complaining about having to make the drink and complaining about my order. There were three people including Cari behind the desk and one of them was singing, Cari was talking and complaining the whole time, and the last girl was actually doing her job. They dumped out 3 blonde espressos while complaining the whole time. When I finally got my drink Cari told me that it’s better to get my drink at a “not corporate” starbucks because at a corporate starbucks they will make my espresso bitter. It took at least 15 minutes to get my order which backed up the line, I feel bad for the lady behind me who seemed to be in a rush while Cari kept chatting with other employees. I proceeded to get home and try my drink and lo and behold it was bitter. If I could give this store zero stars I would.

Every time I come to the drive through location at West Ashley Circle they make my drink wrong. When I say very light ice, my cup is completely full of ice. This is unacceptable.

Blonde worker white woman in her mid-40s 50s is extremely rude this is the second time I’ve had an incident with her she forgot strawberries and a drink which normally comes in it and accused me of not getting her the correct information she needs to grow up don’t you know that the customer is always right She doesn’t need to work there any longer.this review for Harris teeter location West Ashley circle
