Almost like being back in Greece. The grilled octopus was amazing and the spanakopita was absolutely delicious. We also had some really great entrees and the service was outstanding. In my top five of restaurants here in Charleston.

First, our reservation was for 4 and with a few hours notice, they were able to add 2 more to our reservation (on Labor Day weekend nonetheless) and push our reservation back for us. Greatly appreciated the flexibility. We sat on the patio, such a cute vibe. Secondly, service- absolutely phenomenal. We loved our server. She cut up with us, told us what to order (and steered us RIGHT). The experience was just 20/10. We all ordered a ton of food and shared everything (best choice) and everyone loved it all. We had some pickier eaters with us who decided to branch out and try octopus among other things and they loved it. We raved about the food for dayssss. This will be my first stop next time we are back in Charleston. I’m still thinking about the food. 4/6 of us had been to Greece and this was such a great, authentic Greek restaurant closer to home. It really was so good. Well done Stella’s. You were our favorite place during our 4 night stay! I can’t even pick a favorite thing it was all so good.

We had heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try for date night. The drinks were good, the calamari was very light and crisp. Feta appetizer was fantastic. Server didn't tell us the specials until we asked. Ok, that's fine. My husband ordered the ribeye cooked med rare. (Very red center). When his overpriced steak came out it was already cut into strips and was very overcooked. No red center whatsoever. The waitress offered to fire another steak and apologized. Meanwhile, I had the salmon and spinach/rice. After a long wait, his steak arrived and it was overcooked as well. It was a little more pink but definitely not med rare. The server even told us the lighting could make it look overdone (we were sitting beside a window). $55 for overdone steak strips and sweet potatoes is ridiculous. I don't ever leave reviews but this was a waste of money and very disappointing.
In response to the owners comment:
My husband did eat the first overcooked ribeye because he was hungry, he waited 20+ minutes for the second ribeye and I was finished with my meal by the time the second one arrived at the table for him. Yes, he packed it up and took it home. I took half of my meal home as well. We paid for it. Perhaps the chef needs to review cooking times for meat temperatures as the first ribeye was brown. Have a great rest of your weekend.
Amazing food! Highly recommend!

We had a great tasting dinner here at Stellas. The food was also presented very nicely and came out very quickly after ordering. My one quip would be that none of the salads come with any protein and it was $10 to add grilled chicken, that felt overpriced. Additionally my mom asked for a sprinkling of grated parmesan on her salad, for which they charged us a $2 fee with no heads up. In the end, for the price, I'll probably try a different Mediterranean restaurant before returning here.

I had high hopes for this place but was kinda let down. We got the dolmates, and the feta and spinach filled filo. They were alright, but the dolmates were really dense.
For the main, I got the lamb shank w/ no. 5 noodles. The meat was nicely cooked but lacked seasoning. The noodles were undercooked and drenched in butter.
As a final part to the rant, the diet coke came from cans that were probably 2+ years past expiration date, so they lacked flavor and were flat.

Despite the waitress forgetting my wife’s Greek coffee and being out of saganaki, the food was amazing. Have been to both this location and Richmond and I would absolutely go back to both.
