I brought my parents here for my birthday dinner and honestly, we all left feeling disappointed. We started with the dolmades, but they came out hard as a brick and completely cold. After sending them back, we decided to just move on to our entrées. Fortunately, all of our main dishes were excellent and everything was cooked to perfection. We also ordered a few drinks from the bar, which were amazing. When it came time for dessert, our server asked if we wanted anything, and we ordered the flourless chocolate cake and the salted caramel gelato. Instead, we were served the cake with passionfruit sorbet. I’ve heard so many great things about this place, so I really wanted to love it, but for my first visit, I walked away a bit disappointed overall.

I quite literally wanted to try every single item on the menu. This restaurant is dimly lit, we sat at the communal bar which was a fun vibe, and the service was great. Every flavor and texture in these items were planned and executed with great care. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves fantastic food!

The vibe was chill. The octopus was delicious. The salad left a little to be desired, but that was probably my fault for ordering a salad that had no lettuce. The feta bricks were the best part.

What a nice way to start an evening before a show at CMH. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Our waitress Jessica was amazing and made the daily appetizer and dessert specials sound so inviting, we had to order them. Squash blossoms and Portokalopita Orange cake. Sorry, they didn't last long enough to take pics but they were presented beautifully. We did take pics of the main courses of Moussaka & Shrimp Santorini which were both full of flavor. The staff helped out in every way needed to make the evening enjoyable. Very much appreciated. We'll be back.

Stella's is a quaint and authentic Greek restaurant located in Charleston, SC. We have also been to the location in Richmond,VA. Both locations operate with the highest standards for service and food quality. We opted to eat on the patio in August, overhead fans kept us very comfortable. Everything from the fresh bread and olive oil to entrees and dessert showed attention to detail freshness and quality. Stella's provides a true family atmosphere. We couldn't pass up the baklava! It features hickory nuts azaleas, pecans and chocolate chips. A light but decadent treat! Stella's is a must visit whenever you in Charleston SC or Richmond VA.
