We were invited by Chef Danielle to stop by for dinner. The atmosphere is nice, chill and cozy. Service was top tier from the beginning to the end of our meal. Everything was great but my 2 highlights were the Grilled Octopus and the 1/2 Chicken. The Chicken was FULL of flavor, MOIST and just down right AMAZING!!!! We’ll definitely be back!!!

Great place for authentic Greek food. Wait staff are remarkable. Great ladies night out. Dessert was frozen solid hard: cheesecake. They took it off the check.

Went there for a late Valentine’s Day dinner with my boyfriend. Great food! Service was pretty bad and slow. Never got our wine we ordered and only really saw the server when we ordered food and asked for the check.

Stella's is by far one of the best restaurants in Charleston! My wife and I have been going since they first opened. Another secret is they're right by a parking garage on St. Phillips Street, that's super convenient especially downtown!

Very glad I went here for dinner. The server was helpful to me and to others, helping describe ingredients and portion sizes. My soup and salad was just what I needed, after too many consecutive nights of rich meals. The arugula and fennel salad was fresh and healthy. I would have enjoyed the dressing more if the acidity were toned down a touch. The lentil soup was served hot, with a mild tomato-red pepper broth. The lentils were a little crunchier than my custom. My neighbors’ dishes (grilled octopus and lamb) all looked delicious and attractive.

Phenomenal service, atmosphere, and food. Tried the pikelia which had a little bit of everything and it was a very authentic experience. Thank you Stella!

We came to Stella’s for New Year’s Eve and it is a new favorite. Loved the atmosphere, service, and food. I had the kotopoulo which was incredible. We will be back.

Stella’s is an absolute gem and a shining example of how Greek cuisine and fine dining should be done. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elevated yet warm, polished but never pretentious. It’s the kind of place that makes an evening feel like an occasion.
We chose to eat at the bar, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the experience. Rather than feeling like an afterthought, the bar felt like a lively communal party table—social, energetic, and incredibly fun. Conversations flowed easily, the staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the whole space buzzed with a celebratory vibe.
The food was nothing short of wonderful. The appetizers were substantial, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor—perfect for sharing or enjoying as a meal in their own right. Every bite reflected care, quality ingredients, and a deep respect for Greek culinary traditions.
Cocktails were equally impressive. My date ordered the Santorini cocktail and absolutely loved it—balanced, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. It was clear the bar program is just as thoughtfully curated as the food.
Stella’s delivers on every level: atmosphere, service, food, and experience. Fine dining that still feels fun and communal is a rare combination, and Stella’s pulls it off flawlessly. Five stars, without hesitation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Obsessed with this restaurant!! Our best dinner on our entire Christmas trip. Anastasiia was beyond incredible walking us through the entire menu and making excellent recommendations. Our food was exceptional and we will for sure be telling friends of ours to go if they’re visiting Charleston.

Welp....If you visit Charleston SC...Stellas (local Greek restaurant ) is a MUST!!!! Anya was our server, and she deserves 10 stars on her own. We decided to sit at the dining counter which is the ideal place to situate yourself and watch the magic of the kitchen happen.
Our meal began with Tabouli and Hummus appetizer.. which was delicious. We continued our dining experience with a traditional Greek salad, which was so fresh. and could feed my family for a weekend.
Salmon and Artichoke Moussaka were our main dishes and that was even more delicious!!!! How is this possible??!!
The chefs here would blow away Gordon Ramsey on any given day.
