Wanted to get breakfast on my last day in Charleston and I saw this place and decided to go. It's family owned and I love supporting local businesses and I was so happy because it's such a cute place, very bright, open and airy with good food. The server was attentive and friendly offering refills even without being asked. If you are looking for a good local place for breakfast or lunch I recommend the Sunflower Cafe
Reflections of a simple mind
Located in the suburbs is this cozy restaurant- serving family style food. The ambiance makes you feel settled right away. Staffs are very friendly. The food tasted so good- Benedicts with sausage was the best breakfast I had in a while. I am so glad, we made a detour to stop by this amazing restaurant- on our way from Charleston to Hilton Head.

Eggs Benedict was delicious! The service was amazing and it's a total mom-n-pop joint with great a atmosphere. Definitely a good stop. Bonus for the hilarious coffee cups ?

The environment is clean. The atmosphere is warm. The staff appeared friendly. My food was hot however my friend Breakfast potatoes were cold. The server took the potatoes and returned them. The potatoes in the middle and bottom was still cold. As we was sitting at the table, we felt rushed because the server said at least 5 times that we can pay. We left the inside and was talking in the parking lot, the server wave at a family of 9 into the restaurant. I would appreciate the server just telling me that they needed the table instead of me feeling rushed. I am still processing to decide if I would return to try again.

Exceptional customer service and the food was so good. We stopped by on the way home to Charlotte NC and so glad we did. I left my purse there the food was so good and the owner was so gracious to mail my belongings. Good people and good food.

This cafe was so cute! A great hole in the wall location. Very popular I recommend making a reservation. We showed up 10 minutes before and were seated immediately. Very well staffed and food was excellent!

Its a cozy family style restaurant. They have items not like your traditional chain place. The spicy sausage eggs Benedict was pure amazing. And the pancakes are big enough to feed a bear. I will be back.

I have been a returning client to this place for many years. During the last 3 visits I started noticing that they would only sit us at the first table as you entered the restaurant. Today, my family and I had one request. We told the person managing the front desk to please not give us the first table. We wanted to enjoy our breakfast without having everyone that walks in pass the table. I don’t think our request was unreasonable. After waiting for almost an hour…we left. As a business owner… I get that you want to serve repeated clients and that you might know some of them. What is not cool is to look the other way while you did nothing to accommodate us. It makes me wonder what was the reason behind it. Bad business decisions reflects on your leadership. We might not be your biggest clients… but believe me when I tell you… word of mouth is everything!. You did you! Fast flipping attitude service to loyal clients. I give you ⭐️ that’s it.
A group I belong to meets here every Sat. morning for breakfast. We are accommodated with the greatest of care and efficiency.

What a beautiful and charming spot to eat. We came in a Sunday for brunch. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had the spinach, mushroom, and cheddar omelette, eggs Benedict, and the sunflower breakfast that comes with eggs, bacon, potatoes. Beignets for dessert. Great experience overall.

I love this place! This was my second visit and it just has a nice homey feeling to it with mixed plate and cup patterns that your food is served in. Excellent service. Great breakfast options. If you like Benedicts this is your place! Fast service. Couldn't ask for more.
