Our trip to TCBY James Island was awesome! I used to get a waffle cone for lunch (back when it wasn’t sold by the ounce) nearly every day. TCBY closed in our area, so I haven’t had one in ages. The attendant was courteous, the flavors that I wanted worked just fine and the toppings I desired were available. I’m very pleased with my visit.
There weren't any fruit topping offerings (except maraschino cheerios), the staff wasn't overly friendly, and it's overly expensive for what you get. We'll find another place for the summer.
I’m not one for leaving negative reviews…but this was just too funny. They’ve got what looks like a 15 year old running the place by himself, so you can imagine what the tip top standard of a 15 year old boy looks like…A layer of grime on every surface to add character, vape smoke to add a hip ambiance, and a barefoot 13 year old girlfriend running in out and to give it a youthful hoppin vibe. It felt like of those trendy speakeasy’s where’re your 20 dollar mixed drink...
