We have gotten our Thanksgiving turkey and ham from here the last two years and our family loves it. The meat is never dry and just tastes clean and delicious
Nice butcher shop. Had some bad shrimp unfortunately (happens anywhere so not a big deal) but they were very kind to resolve the issue and very understanding. Thanks and will be back again.
We stopped in for Friday night dinner. Being out of town and wanting a great steak without bougie or being super spending. Ted’s tenderloin was melt in your mouth with a great smokey flavor. Service was great and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you.
Very good sandwiches! Stopped here before a concert at the Gaillard Center, a 5 minute walk away. Good selection of food and ample seating inside. Butcher shop, cheese, and wine too - all nice selections. Super friendly service!
I just moved from New York to Charleston. On Saturday I visit Ted’s and get a hotdog which on Saturdays is grilled outside and - the hotdog is delicious. The only thing I wish they served sauerkraut - maybe that’s only a New York “thing” hotdog sauerkraut mustard. Gerald serves me the dog outside and he’s always very gracious and I appreciate that.
Thank you Gerald!

Really delicious hamburger. I didn't have time to study the menu and just got the daily burger. Can't even tell you what it was called. It tasted like it was cooked on hardwood grill (can't confirm) and the seasoning was outstanding. This is a standard thick patty not a so called smash burger. Bun looks like and tastes like brioche. The Cole slaw is typical. They will sell them until they run out, and start selling at 11am. The butcher shop looks like high quality meats.
Friendly atmosphere throughout the store.
This place is a neighborhood gem. The locals know best and Ted's is an institution. Try to get a table for the Friday night dinner, just don't tell anyone.
I love Ted's fantastic people high-end meats and cheeses. Incredible olives and they're in-house lunches always phenomenal
Very yummy! High quality sandwiches. If we were local this would definitely be a regular stop.

Lowcountry Local First ordered Ted's Butcherblock for a monthly networking event and everything was delicious! The quality of ingredients and preparation is unmatched. Ted's is a long-time supporter of Lowcountry Local First and gives back to the community in many ways. I highly recommend supporting this local business!
We stopped at Ted's for lunch after visiting the aquarium. Everything was delicious! The meat was lean and the seasonings were all in perfect proportion.
Great sandwich, salad, cheese and wine store
Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, but the food was excellent! Service was strictly business (neither friendly nor unfriendly). I noticed several working professionals pop in for to-go lunches. This is clearly a spot enjoyed by tourists and locals alike.
1 side comes with 1 sandwich. Sides are small and sandwiches are huge. Potato salad and mac and cheese had great flavor.
Tip: Make sure you ask what the chicken salad of the day is before ordering the chicken salad sandwich. I had wanted to order it but found out it was buffalo that day and I can't tolerate any spice.
We would definitely come back here if we were ever in the area again!
The absolute best burger I’ve had in CHS! Walking into the store is just mouth watering, so many delicious items to choose from.
