This is a small place and it was a friday at 2pm. We did not have reservations. The owner went out of his was to seat our party of nine. The appetizers were large portions. Fried artichoke was enough for 4 people. Nice light batter. Came with marinara and aioli. Superb. Meatballs were great. Barrata was large with arugula with a light dressing. Everyone got sandwiches. Big portion with a ton of home made chips. $2 more you can get fries or a nice side salad. The sandwich that was the most unappealing in looks was the star of the table. Best patty melt we have ever had. We all took a bit and agreed. Huge piece of meat. Juicy. And oh...so flavorful. I will order that when we return. Good service. Beer and wine only. Prices are fair for charleston.

Tried for the first time and here are my thoughts:
Service was friendly. We ordered French dips...they forgot the au jus.but it didnt matter as it was tasteless..like water..server mentioned they had a new chef...they may need to find another..both dips were sparse with meat which was dry and tasteless. The fries were way oversalted.. Not a great lunch.

We've come here a couple times for lunch and all of our experiences have been great. The bread is so soft and the food is delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back.

Read the reviews and came here with high expectations but I was disappointed. The chicken parm had a huge, crispy piece of chicken which was delicious but the cavatapi was overcooked and tomato sauce was bland. The cheesesteak sandwich and the house made chips were tasty but overall the experience was underwhelming. The portions are large so the prices are justifiable but this isnt a come again for me.

One of the best spots in the neighborhood. Great food, elevated everyday favorites like chicken parm, rubens, French dips and one of the best cheese steaks in the city.
Excellent, delicious food, the Chef is incredible!! Top patty melt in Charleston. The spicy shrimp with polenta is my favorite dish and always comes out piping hot. Ella was our server and she has the BEST personality and made our meal even more enjoyable. Ella's smile and infectious personality made our evening special.

Amazing Caesar with a crispy buffalo chicken cutlet. The sauce was just how I like it. Real croutons in the salad instead of breadcrumbs which seems to be popular for some reason. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
