First of all, Kayla is one of the coolest bartenders in Charleston. Btw, I'm a F&B Director from New Orleans. The food is amazing, & the vibe is just chill. Next time we're in Charleston, we're definitely going to The Brick. Thx Kayla!

Best Bloody Mary I’ve had in a long time.
It was definitely the local “watering hole” and we were “outsiders”. That exactly how it felt. Unfriendly and terrible service, We loved the atmosphere, would have stayed for another drink if 1. We were asked 2. If the staff was even a smidgeon nicer. But again, GREAT BLOODY MARY.

Let me start by saying, I do not leave reviews. But my group was truly treated so poorly here. We moved tables to see the TV - had not seen our waitress in half an hour and asked another staff member if it was okay if we moved tables, were told yes. Our waitress was also rude for the majority of our interactions. We paid our tab and were charged for a drink we did not buy. We walked up to the payment stand near the front door (not the host stand, the manager is correct in the fact that there is no host stand. We were most definitely at the Brick in downtown Charleston.) and politely explained the situation, and were rudely assured we did order the drink. Eventually the drink was taken off of our tab, but we were refused any other service. They would not serve anyone else that was at our table, including a friend that sat with us for 15 minutes. I have never been refused service at a bar or been treated this way by a restaurant staff. We were not excessively intoxicated; this was beyond the point of denying service to a belligerently intoxicated group. Very disappointed in the way that we were treated here and will not be returning.

Food here is delicious and the environment is top tier for a bar. Communal seating encourages conversation and was a good experience for me at least!

Highly suggest getting the mini-corn dogs as an appetizer, they are phenomenal! Really don’t have anything bad to say about this place.

Order drinks, A SHAMPOO (something), either Way it was not very tasty. I exchanged it for a long Island IceTea, that's when I discovered, the bartender is not a good mixologist. Food was so-so... This Is The first time I've ever heard of chicken wings being sold at market price. Mainly its a hyped up place for college students... Don't think I'll visit again.
