Amazing! First time here for us & we couldn’t be happier. Olivia was our server & she was knowledgeable & very pleasant. We ordered oysters (super fresh & clean), shrimp cocktail with some old bay seasoning, kale slaw (so fresh, clean, and no bitterness at all), and the hush puppies with sorghum butter. Everything was delicious, one of the best meal we have had in a while!

John and Dang took amazing care of us. They are the biggest treat of this restaurant. I recommend sitting at the bar just to expense their hospitality. They were humorous educated and friendly. The seafood tower was amazing and I know getting avocado toast for dinner sounds weird but I severely recommend it with the blue crab upchare. You can hang out here all night with John and dang and have an amazing night in chs.

The food and the vibe here is amazing. If you are going with a small group I recommend sitting at the right side of the bar where John is. He is the face of the place to me. He understood exactly what we wanted even though we didn’t and made everything perfect and fun. He took amazing care of us and I recommend requesting him if you go.

So simple but so much better than simple. Shrimp cocktail with perfect seasoning. The lobster roll was full of large chunks of seasoned meat. The crab cakes were literally the best I’ve had in a really long time. Don’t sleep on the hush puppies and the sorghum butter. Service was on par with other high end restaurants without feeling fancy. Simple but perfect.

Very unwelcoming to black people! The bartenders will avoid you and act as if they don’t see you trying to get their attention. I ordered a drink and the bartender failed to put a straw in my drink but happened to not forget to add straws for the white folks next to me who he made drinks for right after mine. When I asked for a straw he offered me tumbler straw for a cocktail drink. Bartender also had an attitude when I asked him if I could have a dish prepared without sausage, he never asked the kitchen then acted surprised and disingenuous when the dish came with the sausage. If you’re black and don’t want to be in a racist environment, I’d suggest avoiding this place.

The raw oysters are phenomenal. Briney, juicy, salty - yet not fishy - and plump. At $2-5 each, my dozen was $42. They were the best I've ever tasted! I recommend the lobster roll if you want a lot of meat without the heavy mayonnaise. I BEG you to try the hush puppies with sorghum butter. You'll want to lick the bowl clean. Oyster shooters were great with homemade mix. The daily catch was Wahoo over risotto. Very good. Drinks were strong and came out quickly. Thank you, Chloe, for the awesome service!! P.S. remember to grab a matchbook to remember the experience.

We had an amazing time! The food was delicious, and there was a huge variety. Our waiter, Ben, was wonderful. One person in our party was not a seafood person and he made great recommendations for their first oyster! He was super knowledgeable and kind. The vibe is really cute, and the food was all delicious.
