Ate lunch here while on vacation. Food is really delicious. Fish and chips, chicken nachos, wings. It all was great! Atmosphere is a little overwhelming with thousands of dollar bills stapled to the walls, ceiling, fans, etc... service was good.

If you love a dive bar then this spot definitely will make you smile. Dollar bills pinned to the walls is not new in the dive bar culture, but this place wins just due the quantity bills. It's small so go early. Definitely stop in for a quick beer, you will love it!

Just a good old bar. Great folks behind the taps, especially Francis - professional, obvious leadership skills. A very solid local beer list and the wings are no joke. Excellent sauce, get them extra crispy and get a dozen.

Cozy dive bar that doesn't quite make it for me. I will say my Guinness was poured perfectly and expertly, but the food left something to be desired. Desired. The fish and chips was just nasty. Would not return, unless it was for drinks only 😞

We stopped in after walking around Charleston and checking out Waterfront Park. We weren't looking for a heavy meal since we had dinner plans later that evening so we wandered into the Griffon. We got a fish and chips basket to split and my husband ordered a gose. The staff was great and our order made it to our table quickly. Food was fresh and our drinks were refilled often.
