The reason for this review is my family make reservations for December 23, 2025 at 7:30 pm on July 5 and we have a confirmation, when we arrived today found the restaurant close and they never call us to let us know. We have to scramble at 7:30 pm to find a place to eat and The Muse was amazing and help us. If you want to be a reputable restaurant treat your customers and potential customers with respect.

We really enjoyed the food here and it was easy to share as a couple. Our favorite was the broccoli dish with whipped ricotta. The flavors came together very well and the broccoli was cooked perfectly! The low country pilau tasted fantastic without being heavy and really gave me the feeling that I was eating quality whole food ingredients. We also had a nice crispy sourdough bread and some churros for dessert (not pictured). Be aware that the churros order is HUGE and can easily be shared between 5 people.

I recently went to the Grocery with a party of 18 that was split into 2 tables that were far apart from each. Now that wasn't so bad, but the service was extremely subpar. We waited 45 minutes for our orders to be taken. On top of that, one guest had to ask 3 times for a beverage and when it arrived the server just placed it on table and never apologized for the wait. The gnocchi dish was over cooked and mushy. YUCK. The salad was wilted and sloppy. Another Big Yuck. Wat overpriced. Not worth the money.

The steak was undercooked for how I asked for it. The sweet potatoes were incredibly hard. So, probably undercooked too. Unfortunately, couldn't eat much of my plate. The service isn't great either as we kept having to call the server ourselves instead of them checking on us to see if we needed anything. Mind you, we were the biggest group in the restaurant. They could've tended to us better. Now that being said, the server was really nice and offered to help with the whole dish situation. The restaurant itself lacks charm, in my opinion. Some folks in my group said their food was delicious, so it's kind of a gamble.

The food was AMAZING!! Service was good, I didnt enjoy that when we sat before even looking at menus we were asked if we wanted bread and butter. We said yes assuming it was complimentary like so many other restaurants, but when the bill came, they charged us for it. It was a very sneaky move. I dont appreciate that kind of service. Other than that everything was spot on Other than that everything was amazing. We ordered mushrooms, blistered peppers, wreck fish, and the baklava sundae 🍨 Highly recommend
