My [vegetarian] wife and I thoroughly enjoyed bites/drinks during The Grocery's daily Happy Hour and look forward to returning, as they offered great small plates and some interesting beverages.
Popped onto Charleston late in the evening. They accommodated us and fed us delicious food, and you could tell they put a lot of love into these dishes. They pair ingredients in a unique way that is both delightful to the taste and the tummy.
We really enjoyed the food here and it was easy to share as a couple. Our favorite was the broccoli dish with whipped ricotta. The flavors came together very well and the broccoli was cooked perfectly! The low country pilau tasted fantastic without being heavy and really gave me the feeling that I was eating quality whole food ingredients.
