We were in town for my birthday and had spent the day walking around an exploring. We had read about Lucky Luchador online, and as we were walking back to our hotel, we decided to swing by since they were about to open. The bartender was outside, super friendly, and invited us in so we figured we'd pop in for one. At first, we were the only ones there since they had just opened, but pretty quickly, a bunch of locals showed up. It had that great neighborhood feel, and we felt right at home almost immediately. What started as a quick drink turned into a three-hour stay with fun conversations and great music. We’ll absolutely be back every time we’re in Charleston. Don’t skip this spot!

Found The Lucky Luchador in Charleston South Carolina. So glad I did. Went there before our early dinner. Such an amazing space. They call themselves an Irish cantina. A pretty good description! The inside looks like a typical Irish bar. They have a lot of beers on draft, bottle and of course tons of alcohol. The outside space in the back looks more like a Mexican cantina. They have a bar back there with a full service bar as well. The staff were amazing- very friendly and accommodating. Really excellent friendly service. They also have a photo booth! Will definitely come back when I come back to Charleston.

This place is really chill and fun. It might be a little divey for some. Usually a nice social atmosphere. They have guest food service, which is fun for variety. They have silly little games sometimes, which people like. I haven't been in a while, but I think I'll go tonight.

A more perfect "neighborhood bar" couldn't exist.. seamlessly meshed into the Eastside. Neighbor downtown this bar offers both inside and outside bars/seating.. the game changer here is that the food is provided by a rotating cast of local food trucks and pop ups in their kitchen which serve til 1am on the regular.

Best dive bar/pub in CHS. Bartenders are friendly and honestly the good kind of protective and professional. They don’t even need bouncers here. Family local vibe where everyone is looking out for each other. Had a lamb kebab pita and it was unbelievable
