This was our first visit back since our honeymoon, this time with twins. Everyone at the restaurant made us feel at home and at ease because going out with two littles is always risky. But the team was super accommodating, our server Mike made us feel super comfortable. Food was great too lol.

Our meals came out cold and we told the waiter, who understood, and took them back. He brought out replacements and they were also cold. We agreed to accept the replacements because we were frustrated and hungry. The grouper special was dry, overcooked and tasteless. My filet was okay, but not worth what it cost. The mashed potatoes were runny and had no flavor. The asparagus was edible.

This is one of my favorite restaurants downtown Charleston. It's got the best cuts of meat and the side items are all amazing. I haven't found anything I dislike there.

Parking is the only problem. It is nearly impossible (free or paid) to find a parking space. The food, the service, everything was perfect and I almost got into a fight because I saw a guy getting ready to leave and asked him to wait until my guest could turn at the traffic light. Of course, he got irate because I nicely asked the gent leaving to wait, and he was in front of her. But the guy leaving put his car back in park and left the guy wanting his spot to move on. It was just the way it was.

Very nice anniversary dinner! There were several steak options and thee filet was so delicious. The stone steak appetizer will be my next choice on return.
