Our food and service here were both phenomenal. We loved everything we had! And our waitress was engaging and fun to visit with. It's a beautiful restaurant too but loud. The large table next to us was laughing and carrying on so much that we had to shout to place our order. They need some noise dampening put into place. But we would definitely still return!
I have not eaten here in a long time. I used to come all the time every January You're the food was outstanding. Whoever the chef is is definitely local. The red rice was on spot the crab cakes were excellent some of the best I've ever eaten. And the collards was superb.
It was restaurant week although we had some items that are standard on the regular menu such as the shrimp and grits, poached pear salad, she crab soup, caramelized onion & fig focaccia and pecan pie. Fried oyster sliders were delicious as well! The serving sizes were plentiful and EVERY item we would absolutely order again. The ambience with more traditional jazz music was enjoyable. This was our first time eating here and we will return next time we come to Charleston.
