Great food, music, atmosphere, drinks and service.

Dinner on 7 Jun 2025. Fish & chips had more batter than fish — not impressed, very greasy. Shepherds pie wasn’t baked with a potato topping, but had a scoop of mashed potatoes over stew — awful!

Food was fine. They are a OSHA fine and lawsuit waiting to happen with exposed wire nuts not in a junction box on a fan under the water tube for the mister. There were also several open sockets in the outdoor dining room on a live wire. The sever was MIA for a while. There were 30min between each table check-in. The dining took 2hrs when we only wanted to spend 30-40min. Without turning tables, that server is hurting the restaurant's bottom line. It's a shame. I used to love going to this place. It's definitely on the down-slide. I expect due to the lack of occupational care, there will likely be a fire. I won't be back for a while.

Same menu, same osha issues, and sevice was 100xs better. No personal connection, but check ins were normal. So improved, but not fixed.

Ask for Phil! He was an awesome server! We were a party of 6 and had the best time! Food was delicious! Atmosphere made us feel like we were in Ireland! Open mic night was an added bonus to interact with the locals! For our short visit in Charleston, we found Tommy Condon's Irish Pub to be our lucky find! Highly recommended!

Our city tour guide recommended Tommy Condon’s Irish Pub, so we tried it and what a fun experience!! Delicious food, our waiter Phil was EXCEPTIONAL, and we were there for open mike night which was a blast!! We only had 3 nights in Charleston and SO glad we had one of our dinners here!! We had extra drinks, dessert and coffee because we wanted to stay longer. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Stopped in for a beer and some appetizers. Nice Irish pub, cold beer and decent hush puppies.

Great place to get out of the hot weather, everything was amazing! The staff went above and beyond! If I’m ever back down in SC I’ll be coming in again

First time in Charleston, SC and the first spot to eat while here and what a great first choice!! Shawn was our server and he was great and friendly!! We had the bookmaker sandwich which was fantastic! The Guinness beef stew was amazing! Definitely try the shepherds pie which was so freaking good! We came on an open mic night and all the entertainers were great. All in all great place for sure, if you are in the area make sure you stop in and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Next time I’m in town I will most def be back! Thanks Shawn for a great experience!

Our crew stopped by on Saturday, the 9th. of Nov. We were celebrating our friends' 50th BD. Jay! The place was packed. The beers were flowing. The staff was beautiful and super attentive. I don't know how they did it. The entertainment began, and the dude killed it. Need to find out who he was. Then, the guy with the electric violin joined in. It was pure awesomeness from then on. The entire venue was singing and stomping. It felt like I was a 3rd class Titanic passenger who happened upon the party to end all parties. It was fabulous! The entire place joined in to sing Jay HBD. I will make it my mission to come back. I need more of this wonderful establishment. And THANK YOU, Staff. Best of the best!

I never ate there. I'm a Mexican from El Paso, Texas who had a blast drinking and listening to an awesome band.

I looked around only to realize I was the only Mexican in there but the best thing was seeing everyone so happy and having a good time.

That was in 2002. One of my fondest memories. I bought the band's CD's because they were great. Unfortunately, I have lost it.

I hope to return one day.

JOHN. IS THE. BEST. BARTENDER IN CHARLESTON. This man needs recognition! I went here OVER a year ago and he was on top of it. Now, I sit here a year later and John is STILL HERE, has a smile on his face and is serving the ENTIRE back room fast and efficiently. This man is the best! The live music and great food just adds to it. It’s a great atmosphere and I love having John as my bartender!

Authentic Irish pub with a great selection of draft beers. The menu is excellent with a good variety of sandwiches and full plate meals. Bartenders and wait staff were attentive and friendly. Great place!
