Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The wrap had so much jerk sauce that it stuck to the paper it was wrapped in. Also there was so much in the wrap that the whole thing fell apart. I have pictures of this It was totally un eatable. To top it all off I ordered it with no lettuce and it had lettuce in it along with it being totally over loaded.

Last week I ordered the same wrap and there was very little in the wrap.

Cali, Bre, and Kayla were fabulous and made my picky sandwich just the way I like it. It greeted me, and the store was spotless.

This is the only tropical smoothie in the charelston area that takes pride in their jobs and actually tries. Thank you!

I came in and Grace was on top of it!!! She was kind and taking all of the orders, which is part of the problem. I noticed four girls in the back of the store talking and on their phones. Grace was working hard making all the smoothies and taking orders while they were back there.

Stopped into the Grand Oaks location and ordered smoothies. Our order was taken by Emily T. , who while waiting on the smoothies to mix, proceeded to wipe her runny nose on to the back of her hand? and look at her hand??? She then placed the tops on the smoothies and proceeded to wipe her runny nose again onto her sleeve ?? When she returned to the register, I was so upset, I told her she needed to stop & go and blow her nose & wash her hands!!! She agreed and left to go blow her nose while wiping her nose with her hands again! Her coworker asked her what happened? Seconds later Emily was back at the register taking another order ! Not sure if she washed her hands, cleaned her nose?? All I know is this will be my last visit & we threw our smoothies away once we left the store. Very disappointed & disgusted !!

Today was my second visit to this location, and I left with the same feeling as if I shouldn't have come here. All the staff were in the back upon entering. After a few moments, a man with blonde hair emerged and refused eye contact with me. He whispered a hello and, after standing there for a few minutes, asked me what I would like to order. He seemed annoyed and distracted after further observation. Communication was lackluster. After he took my order, two other girls emerged. Neither gave a greeting (one's headband was covered in labels from a label maker. The other I'd interacted with on my first visit. Plus-sized with dark hair.) Both looked annoyed. By this time, I was completely uncomfortable.When it was time to receive my order, the blonde-haired guy chose to place my drinks beside me, as if he didn't want me to see him and say something. He asked if I wanted a drink carrier (I ordered 3 drinks and was carrying a toddler) so I told him yes. He brought the drink carrier over and instead of placing it in my out stretched hand, he decided to set it down on the counter. Mind you, it took more effort to reach over the tall partition glass to set the drink carrier down than it did to place it in my hand. I enjoy Tropical Smoothie, but this place makes me want to avoid it at all costs. I'm a frequent flyer of all the Tropical smoothies within the Charleston area, and this is the first place to make me feel uncomfortable for visiting and spending my money.

I was intending to leave a tip but I definitely will next time because they made my Peanut Paradise Smoothie too good!!!!!! It was perfect!!!! :):):)

This place is great. It's definitely a smoothie place that happens to have food, in that the smoothies are what you go there for. Try the moca madness. That's what I got.
