I prefer to support small businesses rather than chains, but their bathroom really turned my stomach tonight. It didn’t look like just an “off night”, it looks like it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in weeks. Then I couldn’t wash my hands because the soap dispenser was empty. I worked in food service for several years, and this is really unacceptable for a place where people are eating!

I’m so confused how this place has such good reviews? It has four “non dairy” options on the menu, two say they are vegan. As a family with severe allergies we were excited to have this as an option. When I asked for specifics about ingredients, the teenagers working thought it was funny and wouldn’t give me a clear answer. And having severe allergies, just trying it without a clear answer isn’t an option unless we want to risk an ER visit. So after they laughed I ordered the a “kids twist in a cup” for the only member of our family who can have dairy. Which was five dollars which is absolutely insane for the amount of ice cream in the cup. Really unfortunate as we would have been frequent customers if the workers hadn’t taken a serious medical issue as a joke.

The staff is very friendly, all teenagers who do a good job. Service is quick. The menu in and of itself is confusing. There’s limited flavors for soft serve/hurricones but lots of flavors for milkshakes. So are the milkshake flavors just vanilla ice cream with syrup? If so, why can’t they serve those as hurricones. If not, and the milkshake flavors are actual ice cream why can’t they serve that in scoops. It’s very confusing. And the vanilla ice cream genuinely tastes like nothing

Traveling from coast-to-coast in search of soft serve... Turbo Cone was a hit! Creamy goodness in a cone! Delish!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: Fine. Parking and outdoor dining are on same level. Single seat restroom is big enough.

My new favorite ice cream place in South Carolina! The Hurricone was amazing, it was loaded with toppings from top to bottom just how I like it. The soft serve itself was great as well. There’s a shaded seating area with clean tables and fans overhead. Clean bathrooms too! I loved the music as well, the only thing I would add would be neon lights lining the pavilion to add to the retro vibes. I feel like that would look super cool at night. Exceeded my expectations, 10/10 will come back!
Parking: Has parking but I can imagine it filling up on weekends.
It’s hard to find good soft serve ice cream in Charleston. No, not custard. This is legit soft serve. Well worth the trip! Plan to return as often as possible!!

Would not let me get pineapple and banana in the same bowl!? Very expensive. Had to get vanilla instead of the banana. Enjoyed the pineapple but not at this price. Sat in car to eat.
