We were disappointed and embarrassed when we took our guests for dinner. Meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were served lukewarm warm at best. The room had many fruit flies which ended up in mu beer. Quality of food was only fair. Out server was not engaging and we had to ask him to repeat himself because we could not hear him. We had to ask for items we had ordered.
Food was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and the setting is very nice. Will be back
Food was over cooked. We order a Chicken Marsala and it came out fried with very little marsala sauce.
Decided on this for my birthday dinner with friends. One of my friends easily made a reservation and the restaurant called an hour before to ensure we were still coming. The food is delicious! Legit Italian-American with high quality ingredients and attention to detail. The pepperonci sauce that comes with the calamari is heavenly and the Sunday gravy feels like you just walked into a family dinner. Everything was fantastic, but very filling so definitely come hungry - though they will package any leftovers up for you to take home. All four of us were very satisfied.

Sauce is very hot seasoning wise ... not what I normally look for in a red sauce . Meatballs were good!
Are you kidding me. How can this food be any better. This was some of the best meal of any type, bar none. The bruschetta was as fresh and flavorful as can be prepared. Rich balsamic and crisp toast. Loved it 💕. I had the ravioli were I prefer meat, but this cheese pasta was eldente with fresh cheese that blended with the pasta texture. The meat sauce was out of this world. Lots of textures and flavors with color to please beyond words. This was better than my Nona Caterina’s. OMG. The Chicken parmigiana was generous and cooked to perfection. Great flavor and texture with a light and wonderful breading. We ate so much and was so overwhelmed we could not try dessert. A great reason to return. Incredible job team. 🏆

Service and atmosphere were good. Food is rough. Salmon undercooked. Sauce without taste. The broccoli and Brussels sprouts were subpar and wilty. The salad was bad too.

We enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service here. I was hesitant to try it based on mixed reviews. It wasn't awful but not exceptional either. The ravioli with sausage sauce was the winning dish. The short rib fell flat with not much taste and meat seemed to not have even been seared before simmering. Past primavera was the smallest portion possible and a small appetizer - for an entire sized price of $25. It also seemed the veggies may have been frozen and not fresh. They had a lot of seafood on the menu but unfortunately they use the baby shrimp instead of local - and so unappealing. We didn't leave hungry but was not the delicious meal I was hoping for in Charleston.
Very busy night for them. Lots of groups. Cement walls made it difficult to hear. Had trouble with the order but the team really went out of their way to make solved the issue and comped drinks meal and dessert. Huge tip was left
Food was excellent as well as the service! Highly recommend if you're looking for a good meal

Ordered a dish and once it was served, it was missing one of the main ingredients. When I asked the waiter, he wasn't sure why. When he returned from asking the kitchen, I was told they had run out. This was easily one of their first seatings of the night. The ingredient was something easily obtainable from local store. I had to suggest different ingredients to use. I really expected them to take care of part of the dinner, or our glass of wine, something as a recovery. There was nothing more given than an excuse. As someone who works in this industry, I can evaluate this as a non - recovered guest.
Not a great summer menu. Meals were heavy & large like I want in January not July. We all left stuffed & with leftovers. Will only come back in cold months!
Really like the ambiance of this restaurant and beauty. Very romantic and service was spectacular!! Our food was so excellent and server went out of his way to make sure our daughter had a fantastic birthday!!
The restaurant was beautiful and the service was adequate. The food was unfortunately not up to our standards. Appetizer of bruschetta was soggy due to too much oil and balsamic. The Italian salad was also too “dressed”. The chicken pesto and pasta was literally laying in so much oil it was not edible. The spaghetti and meatballs was just so so. One of the dishes was over sauced one was under sauced.
The restaurant itself is cool looking. Service was below par. Our server was lovely, but untrained. They brought out entrees before the app was done and we had to ask them to take the app away. We complained to our server who did nothing about it. Our server also left our entrees half eaten at the table when we were done and they sat there until we left. No one cleared the table at all. Didn't offer dessert menus. Just poor management. The only “manager” we saw sat at the front desk on his cell phone scrolling and not helping bus tables or visit with the measly three tables that were there to chat up patrons.
