First of all, the service was fantastic, the ambience of the place was nice. We had a little trouble finding it by foot (it's in a walkway). The food was good, but nothing the four of us had was spectacular. I had the redfish, which was the special...it was dry and really needed some kind of sauce.

The place was great, the service was excellent, the hospitality as a whole was amazing but good lord was the food terrible 😭 before coming, I saw pictures of the food and was turned off but I figured I would still give it a try… it didn’t fulfill.. I’ve been a chef of 10 years and never have I see a chicken pesto that looks like oily unseasoned roadkill served on a plate 😬 my girlfriend got the chicken piccata and it was pretty alright nothing to get excited about. Hers was a little underseasoned as well

We arrived with a party of 6 . We sat up stairs in the overflow. Server finally came with waters . Took our drink orders . Received 4 of 6 drinks then waited 20 minutes to get the other two non alcaholic drinks. Not to mention she did not return to refill the waters in between. Then the same thing happened with the food ! By the time the food arrived everyone was already done . The server definitely didn’t know what she was doing. The food was underwhelming very saucy and with bland taste . Asked for a mod with the meal she informed us she can’t communicate with the kitchen staff bc she’s doesn’t speak Spanish . It’s my second time going here first time wasn’t much better . Understand it’s sewe but the gm should have been staffed and ready to go . Going to search elsewhere for Italian next time .

My wife and I had the absolute best experience from the time we walked in the door to the time we left. We also were able to speak with the master chef, Dean, who was very passionate about the beautiful dishes that he created and it absolutely showed in the taste of each bite. Our server, Tatum, was very accommodating and professional too. I highly recommend!

Thank you Sass for an absolutely amazing event. Everyone raved about the food. It was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back to eat. Our event was wonderful.

The food was decent. The waiter came by to ask about how we enjoyed the appetizer. It had not arrived. When it did it overlapped with the arrival of the entrees. I asked for some cheese for my pasta. I was half done before it arrived. The table next to us had a similar experience and we overheard them in a heated conversation with the manager.

Outstanding food, service and meal selections - salads, appetizers and all the way to the main course. Atmosphere was very quaint with a large upstairs if needed. Stairway and elevator present. The location is on a small quaint street (Hudson) always something going on like a band, snow making machines for the holidays and some freindly arts and craft vendors. Nice restuarant and location.

Restaurant was cold. Service was average, but only one waitress covering the 5 or 6 tables that were occupied. Food was average and overpriced for what it was. Very disappointed overall.

We wanted to try for a second time.
Food was below average for the area.
The staff seemed distracted / lacked any sense of urgency
Spending over 200 you want to feel something besides that was a complete waste of my time/money
I can’t see this place lasting long.

We have been to the other restaurants this group owns and haven’t been disappointed
Maybe this is the training spot

Good service. Knowledge staff were relaxed and friendly. My seafood linguine was ok. Lots of meat, but the crab tasted off. Maybe frozen? Everyone else loved there dishes. Porkchop, filet both great. Our table was in the middle of the room. Not much space and it got a little too loud at times to talk.

Very disappointed. Booked a reservation for NYE 8:30pm waited 30 minutes and still there was no time frame to when our table would be ready. As a local, I’ll take my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same. Sorelle has great Italian as well.

We both had a handmade pasta dish, and they were both delicious! The location is gorgeous with high ceilings, good looking furnishings and an outstanding waitstaff. We will go back for sure.

The food was basic Italian fare that was surprisingly below average. The bartender was excellent, but the table server was somewhat inattentive. The atmosphere is excellent. It is just a shame the food didn't live up to the ambience.
