Clean little joint with authentic Southern dishes. Fried chicken like you WISH your grandma made. Inexpensive and filling. You should visit, because there are only a handful of places like this left in the United States. Everyone is made to feel welcome. But it's a no-nonsense kind of restaurant.

Finally gave this place a try and wow. The food is incredible. Best fried chicken and Mac I have had in a long time, if ever.

This place is nothing fancy, but it's clean and the food is delish. Comfort soul food at its best. I had a fried drumstick, mac and cheese (omg - so good) , a veggie, a biscuit and a glass of tea. Nothing is overly salted.
I will go back.
