Great food and service in this charming South Carolina town. I had the catfish nuggets with potato salad along with the broccoli salad. My wife had the Summer salad with chicken added. All the food was delicious with nice portions. I was too full for dessert. Our server Lori was friendly and helpful.
A great place to eat, if you time it right! The food is really good but their wacky hours make it hit or miss! I love going here when I can catch them open. Try the Bob's pie you wont regret it!
Nice decoration and friendly staff. Trent burger was great but salad not so much. The options at salad bar look fresh at first glance but some buckets contain frozen chunks of veggies, it was freezing cold like biting into ice cream. Would also help to label the salad dressing containers
I didn’t know a ribeye could taste so bad. Fortunately I had a dry stiff lemon bar for dessert to further bitter the experience. The brisket I tasted was well above average but I cannot get over how much I paid for that nasty of a steak.
Our food was Delicious! Lori was our server and so sweet! Chicken Pot Pie and South Carolina Sandwich. Broccoli and potato salad for sides! We had to pass on the amazing variety of cakes. Please stop by! Oh! And hand made quilts for sale!
We were disappointed with the food. The side my husband ordered was corn casserole which tasted very vinegary. We never tasted corn casserole like that before. Portions were very small for the price. I ordered the pork chop which was very tender but extremely salty. However on a more positive note, the service was good.
We were there as soon as they opened. The food tasted as if everything was pre-made or frozen. The service and rolls were good. The bathrooms were clean. Place was not busy
We stopped for early lunch at River's Edge along our drive from Virginia to Charleston. What a lucky choice we made! Home cooking, cozy surroundings, and the best service we've had in a while! Hash brown casserole is heavenly! As was everything else we ate. Salad bar was fresh with a wonderful broccoli salad and a pasta salad. Go here!
I absolutely loved this place. I travel with my family a lot for work and this was definitely my favorite so far. The food was so good that we had a moment of silence at the table. The service was great from when we walked in until we left. Everyone spoke to us atleast once and felt like we've been there before. We will definitely be going back. The brisket was better than a smoke house. The meat was incredibly smokey. I was shocked. You get a lot of food and it wasn't too expensive.
Dietary restrictions: I have a treenut allergy and wanted to get the cake platter. They said they could make me a platter without cakes that have tree nuts. I didn't get to order it because I was too full but it was nice that they offered to accommodate without me even asking.

If you are looking for southern cuisine you will get it here. The chef went the extra mile to toast the croissants which was crispy! I am not much for words but good food is hard to find these days!

nice atmosphere and eggs and biscuit were good. However, I had to tell our server how to make hot tea by heating sweet tea in microwave. Also, they do NOT offer real butter (that was a let down). In all honesty, I'll probably stick with the Wine Factory and Huddle House
