“First visit since they remodeled. I must say I was impressed. Got a breast and wing box with pintos, rice and a biscuit, with a small side of coleslaw. Chicken was moist with a crispy outer crust. Service was quick and courteous, but I must say it was a Wednesday at 12:45 with only three cars in line. If they hold this standard of quality they will do well.Only complaint, the bottom of the box opened up before I could set it in the passenger floor. Only spilled unopened rice and beans no problem, but a inconvenience.“
“Our family loves this restaurant! It has been a tradition for a little while now to go every Sunday after church and it's a highlight of my week ? They serve southern cooked meals on buffet and there's always a different variety of things to pick from for my picky eaters. Their fried corn bread will make you want to slap your mama! I recommend going right when they open (11:00am) or waiting until about 1:00pm because this place is always packed out the door. It's also pretty affordable as well since our family of four can eat for about $40 but I think it's worth every penny. Definitely should try this out for yourself!“
