Food is great and the people there are too
I do not recommend! Came in at 10 o’clock waited over 30 minutes to get drinks and to order and after an hour and a half we will did not receive our food. Tables around us that just walked in got their food, people were already being served lunch. Cooks eating in guest view, people vaping in the kitchen, and playing with hair. Very disappointing and unsanitary. Will not be back.
Gene's is a Chester staple. If you want good country cooking with even better staff who make you feel like family, then this is the spot for you.
