Place was pretty good. A lot of basic menu items and my wrap was tasty. Service was good and constant. This place is quite big inside.

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! We stop when in town visiting family. The food is fantastic and we love the staff! Everyone is so courteous and FUN!
Late Saturday afternoon, cool and quiet. I was very hungry, so glad that the food was good and wait time miniscule.
Very good food and friendly.
Bar area is very limited and they close really early. Aside from that, very enjoyable place.
Like the place, speakeasy is cool and the coffee is fine, but haven't had a great meal there yet
My four year-old daughter and I wandered into this restaurant to grab a light meal and a Coffee. There were a couple of couches that worked out perfectly. Service was great and would definitely return for lunch or dinner.
Great food! Great staff! and Great restaurant! We recently organized a meeting near by for a local conservation group. We utilize Hillside for an evening social event and to cater lunch for the group. We were very happy about everything. The pizza for the social event was superb and wait staff was very attentive. The sandwiches, pasta salad, and cookies were fantastic for lunch! Big thanks to everyone and special thanks to the general manager Anne for helping us organize everything!
Very nice ladies working!! Called a small pizza in and it was done within 8 minutes! And it tasted great. We will be back to try other things .
Pizza, wraps, soup, sandwiches. all fresh hot, and local. Hidden gem downtown.

The Service was great, but my grilled chicken burger, my flapper burger Was not season at all
The food was pretty good and the restaurant is beautiful. Our entrees took over an hour to get, but our server was very apologetic and let us know ahead of time that the kitchen was backed up. Overall a good experience, but nothing spectacular.
I love their little coffee shop and the fact that they have some games you can play at the table! The speakeasy side, Zelda’s, is so awesome looking!
I frequent Hillside when I’m in town but recently rented out their event space for a birthday party. It was fantastic. Anne and her team handled the set up with tables, food bar, and tablecloths. The pizza was amazing as per usual and everyone raved about the salad bar. The staff was attentive the whole time and kept the food coming as we needed it. Anne provided anything I asked for and made the planning and party so easy for me to handle. Please use Hillside for your private events! You won’t regret it!
I ignored the red flags. From my servers strange behavior to his warning that my diet soda was a bit flat. To not bring my ketsup, the bill, my soda never fizzing. I still left an 8.00 tip on 28.00 order. Over the next 8 hrs I suffered uncontrollable diarrhea. Your laxative worked. I would rather you put up a no coloreds sign than make me sick. Be careful being black traveling and eating in small towns. The first place across the street Genes closed 30 mins early and refused to serve us. Better that than laxative.
