Stopped by to get subs for my family. We waited in the lobby with another lady for quite a while and no one came out to help us. I don’t know where the employees were. It was almost silent.

I did an online order and when I got there the worker said the machine didn't work and she couldn't print out my order to make it. She was very helpful unlike the other worker sitting behind the wall. I had to walk back outside to get my phone and he must not have known that I had walked back in bc he said Is she going to make you make it? I didn't say anything but I wanted to say yes all $47.53 of it. He just laughed when she said yes. She was very helpful. The whole time I was telling her what I wanted on the sandwiches he was talking to her trying to get her to come look at his phone. She told him to be quiet until the customer left. I told her I had 2 more sandwiches that needed to be made. She told him to come help. There were two times when he was saying they were out of something but when he went to look he stuck his whole head under the top counter with his hair hanging over the food to see if they were out. He kept walking back and forth from the back and back to my sandwich. Then I was charged $4 for avocado that he said they didn't have but then found it but said it was frozen and he didn't know how I was going to get it out. But I had already paid for it. So I was out of luck no refund offered. I was just offered something else instead in place of it. But there wasn't anything daughter wanted. I'm so done with this place If I want a sub I will drive to Richburg or Rick Hill.

The food I’ve gotten from here has always been good. They had a big sign put up in the dining area promoting a special food of theirs that the staff said they never carry. That bummed my son out and honestly, why advertise something you don’t have? Cross it out or put a piece of paper over it that says “not available in this store” if there is some other part of the signage you still want to keep up. I typically see a younger crowd working in here that all have on headphones… it’s not the most professional and I don’t ever get a friendly greeting or anything like that. I wish people could realize that no matter what their job is, doing it well can be something to take pride in and any form of job with customer service gives you an opportunity to really affect another person‘s day. A simple smile or a happy greeting can go a long way (or heck, even pretending to care about what the person is saying to you). The attitude we use when interacting with others can be pretty contagious so why not have a positive effect on the world around us?

I placed an online order at 8:26. When I first arrived they both had poor attitudes. They made everybody who walked in after me there sandwiches first and so when it came to my order they didn’t have the bread I wanted. I wanted my sandwhich toasted and it wasn’t toasted. They had poor attitudes the entire time and locked the front door at 8:30. I’m pregnant so I needed my sandwhich toasted so I could eat it because I can’t have cold meats. The entire experience ruined my evening. Do better!

Went to the Chester subway today 3/26/25 one of the young ladys that was working could not stop complaining about how the job was so terrible the line at one point was at the door and she just stood around complaining she burned my sandwiches and had to remake them subway you definitely need to do better terrible service

This location had 8 people in it tonight and one of the women behind the counter was cussing to customers and to her co workers about how busy they were. Very unprofessional and very rude. I’ll drive to richburg before I come back to this location. Absolutely ridiculous.

got two 6" subs told the girl what i wanted it seemed she wanted to be somewhere else, the other girl and her were yelling back and forth about some relationship issue. when i got my meal the girl at the register was eating some kind of pizza cup thing, i asked her how it was she said not good and kept eating, they didnt care about their jjobs or their customers.

I went to this location at 9:04pm & they don't close until 9:30 p.m. i had a long day & just wanted a quick sub sandwhich. As soon as I opened the door this girl stated "we're closed." Meanwhile the door was still unlocked, they had just started making sandwiches & the place isn't suppose to close until 9:30. My mother asked her why are they "closed" the lady then said her coworker had to go to school in the morning which I understand that but the business doesn't close until 9:30.. she then said because they still had to have time to clean up & that the store was really dirty and nasty where they were currently making sandwiches. My mother & I looked at each other shocked that she said that. Because who tells customer that their store is very nasty. We definitely didn't wanna eat there after hearing that. She even told me I could come take a look in the back at how nasty and dirty it was. She claimed she just started working there & the manager didn't train her. The way we was greeted was rude. A simple "I'm sorry we have to close early due to being understaffed" would have been a better way to put it. But no one was in there the place was empty, they weren't doing anything when we first pulled up then they started making sandwiches once we was getting out the car. Idk that's just disgusting at least she was truthful I guess, but who would wanna eat there after an employee says it's so dirty & nasty. I went back in to ask for her name because she had an attitude the first time we opened the door. I've tried to call to report the issue but they always say a manager is never working when I call.

Where to begin. I tried to do this the easiest way possible and do an online order. I figure this would be simple you only have to read what I request on my sandwich. There in must have been the problem. Everything I ask for there to be extra of was either not on the sandwich or there was very little for example banana peppers, pickle, mayo. But everything that I put down as less or very little was piled on the sandwich for example salt and black pepper. The whole inside of the sandwich was black with pepper there was black pepper coming out of the wrapper when I opened the sandwich at work. Great job there had to throw away the sandwich it was totally inedible. My fault for trying to do something simple and they actually have the audacity to ask for a tip on the mobile app. I got a tip for you. Do your job properly first then ask for that. I have placed several orders here and have always been painfully disappointed but figured it had been six months maybe something had changed. Looks like the only thing that changed was the date on the calendar.

I ordered two bacon chicken ranch sandwiches and both were made sloppy and messy, the bread was wet and soggy and fell apart we had to eat the sandwiches with forks

NOT good. Order a Turkey salad with Lettuce , Tomato, Black Olives, Spinach. I honestly thought that any restaurant that operated based on profit would be willing to have some basic food prep standards that they follow, not to mention that it's a regulated industry and has minimal requirements that they must maintain. I saw their online rating of 3.5, but having been a part of that industry some years back, I thought " could subway afford to have these owners using their name and logo ?". It must be ok when the lettuce was partially brown and the spinach was NOT fresh and looked wrinkled as well. I wont be back.
