I love 929 kitchen. I get lunch from there every 3rd week when I'm on that side of town. Its clean, the food is hot and the service is great.

We went for Mother’s Day dinner. I finally remembered to take a picture! Everything was served nice n’ hot. The food was good. It’s a niche place, for lack of a better word. Our server was phenomenal! No, I do not know her! Seriously, she was remarkable; unfortunately, we didn’t get her name. Be aware that parking is tricky along busy Gervais Street.

Had appetizers and entrees, but both courses came to close to each other. Also, there was only one set menu, which was overpriced. No individual meal options, only option was appetizers then entree then dessert.

The food was delicious. Nice atmosphere, not very loud from people trying to talk over one another.

Great food, pretty busy place which isn’t surprising so service took some time when it picked up but that’s to be expected. I would go back for sure. Price is reasonable as well

The Korean food here was absolutely fantastic! The flavors were outstanding, and I genuinely loved every bite. It's safe to say I'll be coming back for more of that wonderful taste.

Very good food, surprisingly good. I’d get the buldak, the Cchampong soup.

Only critique is that the Korean fried chicken should focus more on the drumsticks and thighs. Wings tend to get pretty dry.

The bossam dish was not bad but shouldn’t be stir fried in the same sauce as the bulkdak. It should be more boiled and very tender.

Overall, one of the better Korean food places in Columbia. If you want great Korean fried chicken, go to 92chicken.

We used to be regulars at 929. While I respect their ambition to expand, the restaurant just hasn’t been the same since MOA opened. We stopped going for awhile just because they split up the menu in a weird way. MOA is great but more for special occasions and we wouldn’t go there for 929 entrees. We’ve recently started going to 929 again and it’s been okay. 929 is never going to be bad, but it’s not the same. The food isn’t as good. The prices seem to be higher. They’ve made mistakes that we never used to see. The old 929 is missed, but we’ve accepted it’s not coming back and we’ll dine at the mediocre version occasionally.

I really miss the old 929 Kitchen..... I ordered the Beef Bulgogi Cream Curry Udon noodles and found hair in the dish. There was barely any meat in my dish as well. My experience would've been great if it wasn't for those two hang ups.

Atmosphere was nice. Service was okay.
The mandu was super bland . The kimchi thing was okay .

Very unique menu with a lot of good options. Had dinner here for 2 and we had to sit mere inches away from other parties which might not be for everyone. Service was decent and our food was really good. We got Pop Mandoo, Chicken Japchae, and Bulgogi Beef Japchae. Prices were surprisingly fair given how nice the restaurant is!

Top notch flavors and experience, hands down best in the area. They had incredible flavors and made to order dishes. An inspired cocktail menu and even something fun for kids to drink. Modern decor and staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love the food at 929. The bar service is sometimes slow but that's a very small complaint, all things considered.

Cool and different dining option down town Columbia. Very stream lined menu that was actually nice with its options.
