While visiting my son this past weekend at USC, I decided to swing into the Forest Road location. It’s midterm time and after researching a local bakery for some treats, I chose Ally and Eloise for a little surprise. I walked in an hour or so before closing and met Maria. What a sweetheart!! She was so engaging and very enthusiastic to share all kinds of details with me about the products and the history of the bakery. After choosing a box of goodies, she put a few samples into the box and I said ‘oh no…you don’t have to do that!’ She replied ‘why not? We will have to dispose of any leftover samples at the end of the day.’ What a thoughtful thing to do! My son was skeptical when I gave him the box but after I returned home to NC, he called and told me to only give him these kinds of surprises once in a while because he couldn’t stop eating them! The cheesecake is absolutely divine! And the butter toffee bars are unbelievably buttery and salty and sweet and just pure decadence. My son loved the baby cakes and the lemon bars! Next visit, it will be time to test all those cookies!!! Many thanks to Maria for exemplifying what true customer service is all about! Hope to see you soon when I come to visit my son again!! My go to spot in Forest Acres for cookies and cakes. The best thing here is the espresso cookies regular or gluten free which I get when the regular ones are out of stock sometimes. Second location located off of Devine St. near five points.

We are so glad we used Ally and Eloise for our wedding desserts! The entire process to deciding which desserts, flavors, designs, was so easy and stress free. We did a dessert table with baby cakes, macarons, and tarts, as well as a personal cake for just the two of us. The desserts looked amazing and were absolutely delicious. We're writing this review 1 year later while eating our cake and it is still amazing after being frozen for a year! We did an almond pound cake with raspberry jam and American buttercream, highly recommend!
I can not say enough positive things about this establishment! First… the staff are INCREDIBLE: whether it be their welcoming spirit or their knowledge on baked goods, they make you feel right at home!
Don’t even get me started on the carrot cake and macarons… YUM!!!
