went in on a sunday and was PROUDLY served microwaved moussaka from THE PREVIOUS TUESDAY??? and told me that “proper” moussaka was made days or WEEKS in advance to allow the flavors to “meld”. the béchamel was broken and pretty much nonexistent, and to top it all off it was cold in the middle. i have eaten and cooked greek food my entire life with my mother, and when the owner/manager whoever showed up in a dirty golf shirt to ask about our experience, he loomed over my mother and i almost threateningly and told us that we just “must not be used to traditional greek cooking techniques”. we will not be returning to a restaurant where we were essentially ignored by untrained staff until we made a complaint, and were promptly dismissed and shut down. ON TOP of all of this loveliness, the “free” dessert to make up for it made it onto our bill at the end somehow.

We went on a Thursday at 1200 for lunch. It was a little weird, the whole time we were there we didn't see anyone else come in. It's a beautiful room and the service was excellent. But again, as far as I could tell we were the only ones being served. My wife had the souvlaki sandwich with lamb. She felt like some pieces of the lamb were a little chewy, but overall a good dish. And it was huge. I had the lamb souvlaki platter and it was excellent. First time I've ever had spanakopita. Delicious.
Loved the outdoor patio seating.

I’m absolutely horrified by what happened at Ambrosia Taverna. I came here on a Friday night, alone, just to relax and enjoy one drink. But instead of a normal experience, I ended up with an outrageous charge of $3,006 that I never authorized or even knew about.
I tried to find someone responsible—either the manager or the owner—but nobody was there to help me. They were conveniently missing when I needed them most. I was left alone, with no explanation and no support.
To make matters even worse, the bartenders were extremely rude and dismissive. They acted like I was an inconvenience to them, and they had zero interest in helping me or even acknowledging my concerns. Their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior made an already terrible situation feel even more humiliating.
This place is a complete nightmare. From their shady billing practices to the total lack of accountability and the downright nasty staff, I wouldn’t trust them with even a glass of water. It’s clear that Ambrosia Taverna doesn’t care about its customers or basic decency. They are only interested in ripping people off and disappearing when they’re called out.
I’m still in shock over how they could allow something like this to happen. It’s a disgusting, shady operation. If you care about your safety and your wallet, stay far away from Ambrosia Taverna.

The place will blow your mind away. From their song selection to their food options, everything is perfectly curated. If you're a Greek food lover and confused about where to go, go here. Jenny was fabulous and made my night!

We went to Ambrosia Taverna to celebrate graduation and thoroughly enjoyed the evening! The food was spectacular, wine was great, service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. Would absolutely recommend going and consider the restaurant a new favorite.

We ordered takeout. The salmon, lamb lollipops, & kabobs were delicious. Spanakopita was tasty as well. A nice place for a special occasion dinner.

The food was good. Only issue was we waited quite some time to get our meals and it wasn't hot. Seemed like it was sitting in the back for some time.

Food was surprisingly good. I love lamb and their lamb pops are better than cowboys down the street. Also, open for lunch. Big surprise but we were stoked. We had special requests and they were super helpful. Tomato soup was chunky and delicious, the souvlaki sandwich is a fancy gyro and good AF. Ask for the baklava cheesecake too, it will blow ur mind. Good Moscow mules too. Overall, great spot and would highly recommend.

I had an awesome evening with the wife. Our server Roddy made the experience even better. His recommendations were on point. Thanks again for the great service.

Ambrosia night life
Our dinner last night was dissapointing in many ways. The staff was shorthanded and while they were super friendly and apologetic, the service was slow and full of errors. We waited way too long for our entrees, and then dessert came while our dinner plates were still on the table. The lamb shanks were clearly warmed up after having been cooked well in advance and were not warm all the way thru. The whole grilled/fried fish was good, but weirdly under seasoned. The baklava was soft and flat. At $300 for 5 people (with one round of cocktails for 4 of us) it felt wildly overpriced for what we received.
