I tried to spare mercy, but this is the only late night dinner in front of my job. First I want to say the manager (Chris) was very nice but it didn’t help my problem. I ordered online, still ending up waiting a hour. The when I had a question, I called up there. A hostess answered, very young kid answered nonchalantly with “I’m saying tho, what you want me to do?” To put the icing on the cake, my wife’s order was wrong and I was given cold food. When I went in and told them, they said they were closing down. Remind you it’s like 11:40 pm. Just a bunch of kids with air pods and on their phones. I work at Trane. I had to come back and tell them this because we go there alot and considering I spent $45 on absolute BS. NEVER would I go again. I’m beyond disgusted.‘I recommend McDonalds first.

I can't really speak on the food as we never got that far. My wife and I decided to stop in and grab dinner. We have never eaten at this one before. We walked in and the guy seating people was wearing baggy jeans that were almost falling off him. Over half the restaurant was empty but he ask if we minded seating in the bar area as he didn't have anywhere else to seat us. Again, half the place was empty, only about eight tables had people in them but it didn't matter where we sat so to the bar area we went. We sat there for about 10 mins as we watched others come in and be seated in the main dining area. We sat there another 5 mins and still no one has came over with menus or asked if we wanted a drink, nothing. After 20 mins and still no one had come to our table we got up and walked out. So if you are in the Columbia SC area and think about stopping in at the Killian Rd Applebee's, don't. Keep driving... I wish they had a 0 star rating.

I HAD TEENS 13-15 MY 10 YEAR OLD MY 18 YEAR OLD AND MY TWO TWINS INFANTS10 MONTHS, WE GOT SEATED AND WE HAD NO WAITER AFTER 30 MINS SOME GUY CAME AND SAID HE APOLOGIZE HE DIDN’T KNOW WE WERE THERE HE’S WORKING THE BACK AND IT’S A MISCOMMUNICATION, KEY ME TAKE YALL DRINK ORDERS AND ASKED IT WE WANTED A APPETIZER I ORDERED MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICKS(2) ORDERS AND HE RETURNED WITH OUR DRINKS, HER CAME BACK AFTER THEY WAS GONE IMAGINE ABOUT 25 MINS, I DON’T KNOW AFTER THAT WE LITERALLY SAY THERE 2 1/2 HOURS WATCHED 4 PEOPLE COME IN SIT DOWN GET FOOD DRINKS AND NAPKINS ETC, WE DIDN’T RECEIVE ANYTHING EXCEPT DRINKS AND STICKS, I WAITED PATIENTLY AND SO DID MY CHILDREN!!!!!!!! Let me preface my review by saying I've been to this specific location 3 times previously. Each time, me and my friends were served by very friendly and attentive women (though I never caught their names).
This time though, me and my friend Olivia came to this location again for her birthday week celebration. Let me again preface this by saying, it was NOT busy. We got seated relatively quickly and ordered drinks and their boneless wings. Our server this time was named Taj.
While I got their strawberry blue swirl smoothie, my friend simply got a water. The problem is my smoothie came first while my friends water took nearly 10ish minutes. Her water actually came WITH our wings and fries.
The wings were of a pitiful amount, hers coming at 8, mine at 9. The wings or fries didn't taste fresh and we had to ask for fresh fries. When my friends water ran low, Taj wasn't nearby until we were finished with our meal and asked is she needed a refill.
Overall, a bit of a disappointing experience compared to my previous times dining here. Will still return at a different period of time in hopes of a better experience again.

The food was good except for the ribs. We did the all you can eat ribs, shrimp, chicken strips, and fries. Some ribs are usually really good, but they trade an amount for a cheaper brand for this. And you could tell there was a lot of fat on it, and you couldn't get any meat off of it. It was definitely not a riblet. Other than that, our waitress was super nice, and so was the gentleman that was helping her when she went to take a large order.

My family came into town and wanted to get something to eat before they left to go home. I told them about the Great experience we had had at this location before. I was Embarrassed to have recommended this location this time. The food was cold, the service was the worst, and to top it off...the Manager was too busy to come and talk to me about the situation. In my opinion, this location just went from a 5-Stars to a 2-Star restaurant. I hope someone in Higher Management contacts me about this.
Sat at a table ten minutes had to sit at the bar to get served with only 10 customers in the building which leads me to try and understand why the food was barely lukewarm when received

Applebee's has delivered its' promise of good food at a great price. The service was not so great, we were seated for awhile waiting not knowing if our waiter knows we're there because she can't even acknowledge us when she's just at the next table.

I come here every few months or so. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and it’s a go to spot for me and a few girlfriends of mine for something chill and cheap to get. The food is always on point and the bartenders are always polite and make the experience enjoyable. The servers are good too. The waitress was so sweet to my baby girl and they had a blast while we were waiting for our food. I had one incident where the server seemed as if he didn’t feel like being bothered but it was a busy night so I think he was just having one of those days and it’s understandable so didn’t make a fuss about it. Overall this location is pretty good and is a nice place to come and relax especially during lunch time. Dinner time it’s more of a crowd which is typically when I like to go for the experience.

We got there 20 min fine (which ended being an hour) they had only 3 servers. We waited got seated 1 1/2 hrs wait then no server no water bartender said she couldn't serve she was shut down for now. We were there almost 3 hours. Her another parents had to leave drive back to GA without eating. We decided to order to go thought we be less than time NOT. Got food try the chips while waiting for non alcoholic drink they were the worst I've had from Apple bees EVER!!! So we wait another 35 min for 2 sets of chips that were just as worst. We spent over $80 for our meals which were not great to the 🗑. We eat at Applebee's alot this was the worst EVER!!! It needs better management and staff. They should be prepared for anything even when under staff or crowds. My granddaughter was in tears not good. Sorry Very disappointed Jennifer Gibbons
