Listen to everybody that posted terrible service. 100% true. My wife ordered a beer, Our waitress forgot what I ordered, asked me again, went to 3 other tables, jaw jacked a bunch. We watched her NOT put our order in, after about 15 minutes my wife went to the bar, where the waitress was, and asked about her beer. My wife over heard say she needed a beer to the bar tender because she never rang in the order. When she delivered the beer, she blamed the bartender not knowing my wife heard her say to the bartender she never rang it in and then lied to me about the kitchen being backed up so our order would take a while. Which we know she didnt put in our order till at least 15 minutes after we sat down. Straight up lied to our face twice and then blamed the bartender for her incompetence. STAY AWAY

This is my most favorite late night dining spot in town! It’s hard sometimes to find a place to go in and eat after 10pm on the Northeast side of Columbia. The staff here is always friendly and the food is fabulous! Always a favorite. Can’t wait to go again!

If I could not give any stars I would. This Applebee's is not a place that I would return due to the fact that they were out of steak, and it took the server over 20 mins to let me know. Meanwhile my family received their food and we have received the appetizers before I was told that my steak was not available.. very disappointed with this location... The manager was nice but not being able to receive what I came here for is a great disappointment.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Applebee’s. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, the food took an unusually long time to come out. When it finally arrived, it didn’t taste fresh and wasn’t worth the wait. Our server was kind and apologetic, so the issue definitely wasn’t with the service — it seemed more like a kitchen problem. Overall, the experience was frustrating, and I left feeling let down.

My friend and I came there last night to have drinks and we ordered an appetizer chips and queso. The chips came out VERY soggy and wet and it tasted like they were also stale and that were dropped on the floor and given to us. We also waited about 15-20ish mins for our drinks and the manager had to come over and serve our drinks to us because we were waiting. It was a horrible experience

I ordered my food through Door Dash, so I can't judge the restaurant's service or atmosphere, but the food was absolutely lacking in every way imaginable. I purchased the 2 for 25 deal and I could have had tastier food from the frozen section in the grocery store. I had the chicken parm with fettuccine. The noodles were stuck together and had no taste whatsoever of parmagian or any other cheese. The chicken wasn't much better. I had the boneless wings as an appetizer. They were tiny, hard and had no flavor. I don't usually eat at Applebee's and now I remember why. I wouldn't order from this place again if they were giving the food away for free.

There were five of us tonight and four of us arrived at 7:00 p.m. The restaurant was only about 30% full but it still took approximately 15 minutes to even get a server to come over to us. The last person showed up at 7:20 p.m. and at that time the server was at the table taking the drink order.
It took until approximately 7:35pm to get the sodas that we had ordered but we were still waiting for the two beers. The waitress apologized and said that they had to refill the ice and that's why it took so long. That doesn't make much sense because it doesn't take 15 minutes to fill the ice.
Approximately 5 minutes later I approached the manager who was up at the bar and asked what was taking so long for the beer and she replied that they were changing the keg. That also doesn't make much sense, we had arrived at least 20 minutes earlier and it should have been changed then.
So at 7:50pm, we decided to put $10 on the table for the three sodas we ordered and go someplace else to eat.
We were at Applebee's for 50 minutes and we never got our beer and that is definitely shown on that restaurant's camera system.

The waitress was attentive and positive, but the food was very mediocre. I ordered the pasta with chicken (without broccoli, since they had run out), and it was overcooked and drenched in Alfredo sauce to the consistency of oatmeal. I’ve had the same dish at another location before, so I know how it’s supposed to taste , and this was definitely not it.
The bathrooms were also in terrible condition ... the toilet paper holder was ripped off the wall, it was dirty, and it smelled bad. Lesson learned: always check the bathroom first, because if I had seen it before ordering, I never would’ve eaten here.

Changing my review from 4 stars to 1. Went in today for lunch, sat at the bar about 10 minutes and no bartender/human being came to talk to us. There was also a very sour smell like there are old rags and/or cleaning water with spoiled food in it. I will not be returning nor recommending them as a good place to eat to anyone.
