I have never in my life had watery Mac and cheese and then for the wait to be so long and the food was no where near fresh the chicken was hard and tasteless and I did not even eat the food I threw it away. I was too hungry for my taste buds to be played with what a rip off. I once enjoyed eating here

I went to the BBQ Pitt on today. It was my first time because I heard people talking about it. I ordered the chicken plate with hash and rice and fried okra and skins. The food was nothing to write home about. I did not taste and smoke flavor on the chicken. The sauce was thrown on top of it. I also did not care for the hash; not much flavor. The okra was good and the skins were really good. The cashier was nice. There is another barbecue place on Farrow Rd that tastes much better in my opinion

You can smell the smoke when you get out your vehicle 🥰. I ordered the 1/2 pit special rib dinner. It comes with hash, rice, two sides, and a roll. I substituted the hash and rice for mac n cheese. Collards and potato salad for the sides. I didn't get a roll with my order, but I didn't remember it came with one until I made this post 🤦🏿♂️. I was disappointed with the size of the ribs 🤔. There was one st. Louis style rib and two rib tips. I would assume its this way because they seperated the tip from the meat. The rib tips were meaty 😋. The flavor was good. They were very tender. It came with homemade bbq sauce and it complimented the ribs well. The sides were good as well. The mac n cheese had the right amount of cheese (to me), the collards were a tad bit over seasoned but still good, and the potato salad was good and cold. The price was very good for what you get from a bbq spot. Total price was $10.75. I will definitely be back to try other items. There could be a little wait for your order because you order from outside amd if you don't go to the window for an update you won't know your order is ready.

Food was surprisingly not good. Fries were raw. Bbq chicken was missing bbq flavor. Tasted baked with sauce. Turkey wing was mid. Cabbage and greens were seasoned well. Burger was good.

The oxtails and turkey wings are my favorite . Portions suck as far as the oxtail. I know they're expensive but 1 large oxtail over rice is not worth 10 bucks. Plus they are slooooowww. How is it that the things I order should be previously cooked but I'm still there 20 - 30 min with only 3 or 4 other customers

I ordered 4 whole wings, Mac and cheese, and yams. They have a sign posted to check your order. Well I got home. I opened my plate. I had 6 drumettes, hash and rice, Mac and cheese, and yams. I should have adhered to the sign. The best thing on the plate was the yams. The rest of the food was mediocre.

So after church I decided not to cook n stopped n ordered a rib, hash n rice potato salad n corn nuggets dinner with peach cobbler. The dinner was not disappointed very GOOD. However the peach cobbler wasn't.The prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get.I would recommend this establishment to everyone.Karen
