Big Bull's Bang'n BBQ and Southern Comfort Food

Food is amazing. Recently got a bunch of food for friends visiting from Atlanta, and they were blown away and already talking about eating there again when they come back. Can’t talk about good BBQ in Columbia and not mention Big Bull’s!

You don't go there for the atmosphere. The food is delicious. The wait is long, and you can go out to your car and chill and they'll bring it to you. But the food is good.

The Food is Amazing! The Best BBQ in the South! The Banana Pudding leaves me speechless everytime. The Chicken and waffles 🙌🏾

BEST BBQ EVER!!!! The food is absolutely insane!! The portions are enormous and service was incredible! I especially loved the pulled pork and brisket spuds, they were soooo good! Thank you so much for one of the best meals we have ever had!!

Brisket is delicious and a big serving size. Fries were good and fresh. My son rates the Mac and cheese 10/10 lol. It is delicious. Service is also great!! Good people and good food!!

5 stars all across the board!! My family and I felt nothing, but great hospitality our entire visit!! We asked if we could dine-in around the last hour before closing and the whole staff welcomed us to do so. What beautiful staff and family her! These days you must brag when the service matches the food quality at a restaurant…. And I am doing just that! It was a pleasure to eat at your restaurant Mr. Donte. You and your wife have a nice thing going! We will be back for sure!

Me and my wife and family got the smoked chicken, collard greens, jazz mine rice, and macaroni. I tell you one thing this food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. If you want some good Ole fashion barbecue/soul food BIG BULLS BANGN BBQis the place to go. Just the taste of the juicy meat and the smoked flavor 😋 so so good. Nothing was greasy and it was well prepared and put together. Will definitely be going back.

This southern barbeque spot was amazing! I had the sweet and spicy St. Louis ribs, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and pulled pork w/ golden bbq sauce. The pulled pork was OK--could use a little more flavor but still good and the golden bbq sauce was not sweet kind of bland and tangy. You do have a loooong wait to receive your order maybe they can consider to hire more help. In the end the food makes up for it! Mine came out fresh and hot. Also, which was different everything is a la carte(separate) so don't expect like a meal/combo and it is kinda pricey in my opinion. However, the taste makes you forget everything $$! Kudos to a real good thriving black owned business in SC love to support it and keep up the good work Mr. Big Bull!

Honestly the food is good some of the time, I got the ribs with mac and Lima beans. You have to order from this place an hour before you actually get hungry because the wait is bad. Bad parking as well I had to sit in the median and wait for someone to leave just so I could pull in. Sometimes the ribs are good, most the time they are dry but the rib tips are always good never dry, maybe because they have more fat on them idk. But for the price point I wouldn’t consider it worth it.

HANDS DOWN BEST BBQ!

I absolutely love some good BBQ and have found it so difficult to find a spot here in Columbia that offers good food, good service and consistency regularly; Until I came across this place! The food is DEVINE! The flavors are incredible. Fresh. Seasoned and cooked perfectly every time. The service was top notch and I was called by my name during my service experience. I will be frequenting more often and have definitely claimed this as THE spot for good food, soul food and definitely BBQ from now on! I have no idea why this place isn't on national television or more well known but they certainly deserve to be! Try it; you will not be dissapointed!
