Man, I love this place! My boss would take me whenever I'm headed to Sumter after work and get 2 plates or at least a side of chicken. My plate usually consists of hash, barbecue, rice, ribs, greens, and roll. You have the option of cracklin. The most I spent on 1 plate with sides may be $21.00. They're affordable and enough to eat 2 times; furthermore, share if you like because you will feel guilty not too. Don't miss out on the deliciousness!

This place is a joke!!! This is by far the worst restaurant you can go to!!! Overpriced food and low quality. The lady who was preparing the food was impatient and rude. The food was far worse. The turkey wings were white with a greasy uncooked gravy. The cabbage and collards tasted like it came out of a can. The food had no seasoning, which is odd for soul food. Very disappointing. Save your health and money. Good luck

It’s very unfortunate for the owner who worked hard to build an establishment only for customers to come in and be met with unprofessionalism, attitudes, and rudeness. Some ppl actually enjoy the food but wouldn’t think twice to come back to a place they don’t feel wanted. No people equals no business. If the owner is reading this whoever you have taking orders should be FIRED! Hire someone who’s actually happy to have a job before you lose loyal customers behind ppl who don’t care about the business you built. Bring back shame

I really hate to put businesses on blast, but my experience with Big T's BBQ today was beyond disappointing. Great food can only go so far when the customer service is this poor.
From the moment I walked in, I was met with attitude and zero professionalism. Simple questions were answered with rudeness, and it felt like I was bothering them just by placing an order.
We all work hard for our money, and when we choose to support local businesses, we at least expect to be treated with basic respect. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case today.
I hope they take this as constructive criticism and make some serious improvements, because no matter how good your food is… bad customer service will eventually run your business down.

I ordered the fried pork chop dinner which took a little bit of time.I was okay with that.I got the green beans and the greens food for the most part was decent but the service is where the problems kind of come in they had a couple of ladies, come in and order quite a few plates which was fine the problem was when my plate was ready to go i had to wait behind, like three people, even though I had already paid and just needed to be handed my food.So it sat there an additional ten minutes, waiting for them to get through that

The atmosphere was off. The lady at the register was kind but the girl who fixed my plate was a little unprofessional. Her attitude was nasty. I came to this location today June 21st around 7:50 Pm and spent 21.45 for the food. The macaroni was dry and old. It's a hit and miss eating at Big T'S .

The reviews are mixed so this must be a hit and miss place. Well i went on a miss day. Rice and hash was bland, green beans were bland and Mac and cheese was very somewhat decent. The fried chicken wasn't bad. The lady at the counter was super nice and had a great smile though.
