Back when I was a recruit here in BCT from April - June 2019, this was the BEST food I ever ate from any Army DFAC.

Service was ok, unfortunately we had to get our own drinks since the still instructors were lazy smdh… the worst part was only having 30 seconds to eat.. if there was a way that the tables could be made up with drinks at the go so we can eat faster that would be great. They need something for those drill sergeants to do anyways!

Great BCT training DFAC for new coming soldiers. Not the best of civilians/home cook meals of course

Drill Sergeants stuff their face with food, but yell at you just for eating. Once had to sneak a packet of peanut butter out from here and eat it at night because did not have enough time to eat.You have to walk a certain way, hold your tray against your face, and walk with your hand over your cup.
Typical buffet-style fare focusing on healthy options. I got here and was surprised to learn that I had actually signed up for an 8 year service obligation... No 90 minute timeshare presentation, no vacation club, a freaking military service obligation. Tried to talk to the customer service staff on-site about the mix-up but they didn't seem to care at all. Very demanding wait staff. Decent food, but not a place to take a date or visiting family.
