Emma had the warmest smile, best laugh, and made our evening wonderful. She was so attentive and thorough. I asked for an off menu cocktail (yes, I was THAT person) and royal curtsy to the bartender because they made a brilliant Bee Knees. I ordered the special ( swordfish) which, to be transparent, was overcooked and dry…but also not worth being crucified over in a review. The ribeye steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. It was fantastic. The ahi tuna appetizer and cheesecake were delectable. Will I go back? Absolutely.

Tonight’s dinner was an epic failure my husband ordered the mahi Orleans and I ordered the New York strip both were overcooked. While the fish came with a sauce that added moisture and flavor my steak was both overcooked and completely the wrong cut. I ended up eating my husband’s mahi I felt bad he had to eat the steak it was both overcooked and devoid of flavor. We started the meal with a cup of she crab soup…. It smelled good but tasted old. The green beans tasted like they came fresh from a can then overcooked. The waiter was good the bread was great but that was it. Birthday dinner failed.

The only things I would change: is the lighting at certain times~ if it's still daylight there should be a little more lighting on the inside, I seen one customer using cell phone light to view menu; I tried getting Watermelon mocktail ordered spicy cause I seen another drink on menu mentioning with jalapeños for spicy, well what I received looked good but it taste like pickle juice with watermelon instead of spicy watermelon...Lexi tried for bartender to correct and wasn't informed until after 2nd fail attempt that for spicy comes with alcohol and only have pickled jalapeños to make non-alcoholic attempt for spicy fruity beverage; the other thing I like my crust to stay on my fish when fried- I had the Blue Marlin seafood platter and my flounder was flaking everywhere so some bites was just crust; Lastly a bit disappointed at the mash potatoes tasting instant, no flavor. Otherwise, enjoyed the crab cake, shrimp, mix vegetable medley, and the creme brulee cheesecake 😋 👌🏾 😀

Everything taste delicious (scallops, steak, crabcakes, seasonal veggies, etc.)! The cheesecake was the star of the night - AMAZAING! The mermaid cocktail, was great - swap rum for tequila for a stronger option 😉.

I like this place. The only issue was the collard greens, they're one salt shake from being too salty. The little piece of meat I had in it was dry. The pot liquor from the greens is dark brown, Idk why and it shouldn't be. Other than, it was fine.
Food was good service was horrible, the table behind us was complaining over the service also. No wait to get seated, took 10-15mins to get a beer sample, I had to asked someone to take our food order and ask for bread because it was never offered to us. For over $70 it should be better service but the manager tried to help she was great felt bad she had to take care of the servers tables though.

Google has them open all day but, for some bizarre reason, they close till 4:30. Food was great, server was attentive. The scallops were fantastic, the pasta was very good. The Mahi was tasty as well. Definitely worth a try if you like seafood; we didn't try the steak. We plan to come back.

The she crab soup here is fantastic!! The restaurant is located in a really nice area, the atmosphere is calm and great to talk. The dessert is perfect to share. My family truly enjoy it!

Good food, horrible waitstaff! 1. Waitress brings a cup of gumbo, not a bowl as requested. 2. No paper towels in bathrooms. 3. Waitress would drop items on table, then dart away before you could ask for anything. 4. Went through 3 pepper grinders before we got one that worked.
