Their food is very good but I gave them 3 stars because the food is normally very greasy. Maybe they just need to drain it a little longer however, I take my food home and use paper towel to soak up some of the grease. After that, I devour my food.

First time coming here and it was not welcoming at all. I ordered fresh catfish and shrimp and it was great !

First time at the restaurant. I ordered Shrimp and Scallops lunch special. It came with hush puppies and fries. The shrimp was perfect. Great taste as were the hush puppies. The scallops breading was soggy and the fries were oily (oil logged). First impressions is everything. I was disappointed. I may go back in the future to see if I get better results.

We enjoyed our food from Blythewood Seafood Emporium. We got the family meal. Good portion size for the money. Definitely get your money worth. The food was fresh and hot. We will definitely be going back.

Their seafood used to be delicious. Unfortunately, the whiting was rubbery and tasted old like it was kept too long. Also, the french fries were very oily. The scallops were not fresh as well. This was money wasted because I had to throw the rest into the garbage. So sad. Please do better. You just lost a customer.

Have a wide variety of fish. Their catfish, flounder and whiting are delicious. All of their fish is fried and can come with fries or hush puppies or whatever side you want. They prepare everything as you wait and do a good job. Their batter is very flavorful and they put a lot of tlc into their cooking. Great place for fried fish.

This place is the little secret around the corner. When I tell you the seasonings are seasoning every time we visit. The flounder, perch, croker, whiting are all my personal faves. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK THEM OUT!! But not on Sundays or Mondays because they are closed ?.Also don't forget your hush puppies... And don't get a few because you will get home to eat and realize you should have gotten more.
