Came here with my family. We all built our own burger. All the ingredients were fresh and burgers were cooked to perfection. We are from charleston sc and I wish we had a burger spot like this near us! Will recommend and come by if we come through this way again. John was very accommodating and informative. 👏👏👏 Would give 10 stars if I could!

Really enjoyed this place. I didn't realize it, but we got there about an hour before they closed. The staff was super nice and friendly. I ordered the French onion soup burger and it was amazing! Caramelized onions, some mushrooms and Swiss cheese on an onion roll. The fries were nice and crispy, and seasoned. There was also a dipping sauce that was tasty. Daughter ordered the buffalo chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing. She claimed that the buffalo sauce was VERY hot. The salad was good and fresh, and the Bleu cheese dressing was excellent. Sorry about the picture; I was halfway through dinner when I remembered to take a photo.

I normally wouldn't go out of my way to rate a burger place. But when I say this place is worth noticing, I mean it. I did the build your own, and the burger was everything a perfect burger should be. The flavors were incredible, the preparation was spot on. Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. Ever. Period. Can't wait to return.

Burger Tavern 77 was a mixture of good and alright.
The ambiance and atmosphere were relatively cool. It was basically your average burger joint with a splash of personality mixed in.
The wait staff was very kind but also inattentive. I don't think it was their fault personally; I just think that they were understaffed. Nevertheless, it would have been nice to have been seated a little bit quicker and to have been checked on a little less sporadically.
As for the food and drink, it was pretty average. I got the chicken tenders and fries, which were fine but not notable in any way. In addition, I was not particularly impressed with their selection of seltzers, which was sorely lacking.
All in all, Burger Tavern 77 was a pretty basic burger joint, with some good and some bad mixed together. I wouldn't be averse to returning in the future, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list either.
