We had a wonderful time at this landmark Columbia restaurant. The setting was absolutely beautiful and the food couldn't have been better. The same can be said for the service. We truly enjoyed our evening at California Dreaming and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first class dining experience that is not too expensive for what you get. By the way, the house salad dressing is out of this world and the specialty croissants are absolutely delicious.

Our appetizers were delivered to table before our drinks. We were a table of six. Meals came out at different times Two meals came out 10 minutes after the four meals. One of the late meals was a salad!

My experience with California Dreaming was good. The food wand service was good. I ask for my steak to be cooked medium well but it was delivered well done. I specified it was a birthday occasion when booking the reservation but the birthday occasion was not acknowledged. For the most part we had a pleasant time there.

We walked in @5pm and were seated immediately with a 5pm reservation!!! Our order was somewhat delayed, but they were quite busy. The staff was definitely moving with a purpose to accommodate all guest... The staff was friendly & professional. The food was delicious. All in all it was a delightful dining experience.!.!.! Highly recommended.
